Benecos Happy Cleansing Wipes, Natural Lip Balm in Mint & Nail Polish in Maverick review
Last month, the natural/eco-friendly brand Benecos, released these three new products, proving that green beauty need not be as expensive as you might think it is.

I've featured Benecos a couple of times on here and I really like their budget-friendly makeup. They're a great brand to look into if you're looking for cruelty-free products that are free from the main 'nasties' such as parabens, silicones and mineral oils etc, as all of their products are made with natural and organic ingredients.

Below are some of their latest releases to give you an idea of what they have to offer:-
Benecos Happy Cleansing Wipes
Benecos Happy Cleansing Wipes* (pack of 25 wipes, £3.46, link)

Regular readers will already know that I'm not the biggest fan of cleansing wipes, and I very rarely use them as I tend to stick to Caroline Hirons' popular mantra of keeping them purely for 'Fannies, Flights and Festivals'. However, I can appreciate their convenience appeal and they certainly come in very handy when you're camping or travelling. So if you're looking for a more eco-friendly pack of cleansing wipes to pack into your bag, look no further. These new ones from Benecos are made from 100% natural cotton which is 100% biodegradable, and they're also alcohol-free and pH neutral to be kind to all skin types. Infused with organic plant and fruit extracts such as Orange Water, Aloe Vera and Mango, they offer a gentle and quick way to cleanse your skin without drying it out.
Benecos Natural Lip Balm in Mint
Benecos Natural Lip Balm in Mint* (4.5g, £2.45, link)

Joining Benecos' range of natural lip balms is this new Mint flavour, which will definitely appeal to those who are looking for a vegan alternative to popular brands such as Burts Bees. Featuring a blend of natural plant oils, waxes and butters such as Shea Butter, Cocoa Seed Butter, Carnauba Wax and Olive Oil, it's a moisturising treat for dry lips. The extra Peppermint Oil adds a lovely soothing and cooling sensation which will please anyone who's a fan of Mint flavoured lip products.
Benecos Nail Polish in Maverick
Benecos Nail Polish in Maverick* (9.5ml, £6.95, link)

Benecos' Natural Nail Polishes are seriously underrated in my opinion. This brand new bright purple shade has been specially created to support the brand's sponsorship of the Hertfordshire Mavericks Netball Team through their Superleague season, and I absolutely love it! Purple is one of my favourite colours anyway, but this shade is the perfect transitional Spring shade to get you in the mood for some (hopefully!) warmer and sunnier weather soon. Excellent 6-free formula with a high shine glossy finish and the brush is also worth mentioning as it's wide and slightly curved, so it practically 'hugs' the shape of your nail for an easy, flawless application.

New Tech: Petcube Play Remote Wi-Fi Pet Camera review

Petcube Play Wireless Pet Camera review
Something a little different today for a Sunday post, but one that marries two great loves of mine; pets and technology! Meet the latest gadget that I've been having some fun with - the Petcube Play.

When I gave my blog a makeover after the New Year, I decided to write up a list of potential categories that I'd be interested in reviewing to give a bit more variation to We Were Raised By Wolves. Beauty will always be its main content, but I wanted to include some more lifestyle bits every now and again to mix it up a bit.

One of these new categories was 'Pets' and I've had a bunch of emails from a range of pet related companies during the last two months. Sadly, none of them really appealed to me as I'm not into dressing up dogs in costumes or using expensive shampoos on them, but one email did get my attention when Petcube got in touch.

I'd heard about Petcube from some US bloggers that I follow, but I didn't realise it was available for sale in the UK until they contacted me. A week or so later, a Petcube Play arrived on my doorstep and I was so excited to try it out!
Petcube Play Wireless Pet Camera review

What is Petcube Play?
Petcube Play is basically a remote Wi-Fi pet camera that has a built-in laser, speaker and a microphone. It's shaped like a compact cube as you can see above and it comes in three different colours; Matte Silver, Carbon Black and Rose Gold. The main idea behind it is that it allows you to check up on your pets when you're not at home via an app on your mobile phone. The camera streams 1080p HD video with a 138-degree wide angle and you can use the 3x digital zoom for a closer look. It has night vision too, and you can receive noise and motion alerts/notifications if your pets make a significant amount of noise etc. The Petcube Play can also record video, up to 30 days (uploading to cloud storage) if you upgrade to the Petcube Care package, but all of the other features are free to use.

Petcube Play gives you the option to interact with your pets as well through the two-way speaker audio, or you can play with them with the human and pet-safe laser. The latter is really more for cat owners as cats seem to go crazy for lasers, whilst dogs don't seem to be that fussed!

Nevertheless, I think it's a really cool concept overall and it gives you that piece of mind that your pets are OK when you're not around. I've also heard of people using cameras like this as a general in-house security camera too, and I can certainly see myself switching it on to do this when I'm on holiday or having a weekend away, and the dogs are in kennels.

Setup & Installation
The Petcube Play was incredibly quick and easy to set up, and I had it ready to go in a matter of minutes. All you need to do is find a stable location where you want to put the Petcube Play (ideally on a flat surface and pointing in the direction where your pets tend to hang out when you're not in the house), and plug it in using the power adapter provided. Make sure that your home Wi-Fi is on, and then download the Petcube app to your mobile phone (compatible with iOS 8 and Android 4.0 & newer).

The app has an easy to follow guide to help you connect it to your home Wi-Fi and there are corresponding coloured lights on the Petcube Play to show you what's happening at every stage. You can fill in a profile for your pet on the app, and there are different settings for things like privacy as you have the option to make your camera public. If choose to set it to public, Petcube owners from around the world can see what your pets are up to (and you can of course see their furry friends if they've set their Petcubes to public too which is fun!).

Once set up through the app is complete, you're good to go!

Overall thoughts?
As the Petcube Play uses your home's Wi-Fi, the quality of the video streaming will depend on how good your internet connection is. Mine's pretty good most of the time since switching from Sky to Virgin Media last year, and I was really impressed by the HD quality. The night vision was also great, though a little spooky as it looks like something from Paranormal Activity when you're viewing it! There was some slight buffering when the dogs were moving about, but that's something that I expected, and you could still get a clear image anyway. If you use the speaker function to talk to your dogs, there are a few seconds of delay, however, when the sound does come through, it's relatively clear and audible.

What I liked the most about the Petcube Play was the wide angle as it covers a lot of ground, especially if you place the Petcube in the corner of your room. It's a fun way to keep an eye on your pets, and I'm sure cat owners will also love the in-built laser which you can play with through the app!

The Petcube Play* retails for £149 here, and for more info visit petcube.com

Would you use a Petcube Play in your home?

Beauty Box: LoveLula Beauty Box - February 2017 review

LoveLula Beauty Box - February 2017 review
LoveLula's monthly beauty box is one of my favourites on the subscription box market and it's always such a treat to come home to. February's box is one of their best yet!

One of the many reasons why I love receiving this box every month is because they do a great job of introducing me to brands that I may not have heard of before, so it's a really good way to discover new companies and products that are all green/natural/cruelty-free, and a lot of the time they're organic too.

Inside February's LoveLula beauty box, I found:-

  • Madara Micellar Water (full size, RRP £14) - I've tried a couple of sachets samples of this from various other beauty boxes in the past and it works pretty well to remove most of my make-up, but it's not very effective for removing mascara or stubborn/waterproof eye makeup. It does feel nice and gentle on the skin though, so if you wear mostly mineral based makeup, I'm sure you'll love it a lot more. I mainly prefer to use it as a refreshing/hydrating toner instead.

  • Weleda Skin Food (10ml travel size) - If you've been reading my blog for a while now, you'll no doubt know that I absolutely love Skin Food and always have at least one tube of it on the go, as well as backups in my stash! It's an amazing multi-purpose moisturiser that's crazy thick but great for giving the skin some serious hydration. I always recommend it to eczema sufferers as well who are looking for a natural based, non-steroid cream.

LoveLula Beauty Box - February 2017 review
  • Ooh! Oils Of Heaven Natural Marula Replenishing Face Oil (15ml travel size, RRP £9.50) - There's a lot of hype around the many benefits of Marula Oil at the moment, so I'm curious to try this out to see what all the fuss is about! It's high in anti-oxidants, essential fatty acids and Vitamins E & C, and this one is cold-pressed and ethically sourced.

  • Maggie Anne Nail Polish in Jasper (full size, RRP £10.50) - A vegan-friendly, 6 toxins-free gel effect nail polish in a gorgeous neutral shade. It looks a lot less pink in real life and is more of a beigey-taupe with purple/grey undertones. Very pretty!

  • Greenfrog Botanical Body Wash (100ml travel size, RRP £3.90) - This is a really good larger travel size for longer holidays or multiple weekends away, and it smells beautiful. It's the scent Neroli & Lime so it's wonderfully refreshing and uplifting. SLS-free and made from organic Soapberries grown sustainably in the Himalayas, it's a good one to try if you have dry or sensitive skin.

The contents of February's LoveLula beauty box are valued at £37 so it's fantastic value-for-money way to try out a bunch of new green beauty products from a range of interesting eco-friendly brands.

LoveLula Beauty Box* is a monthly subscription box priced at £12.50 with free postage in the UK. Visit lovelula.com to find out more.

Mid-Week Pamper Treats: SenSpa One Minute Radiance Mask & Pure Luxe Serum In Oil review

SenSpa One Minute Radiance Mask & Pure Luxe Serum In Oil review
Happy humpday! If you're looking for some budget-friendly skincare pampering treats from a luxury spa brand, this is the post for you.

Last month I was introduced to SenSpa who run a luxury Thai-inspired spa based at Careys Manor in the beautiful New Forest. Spa days are simply little pieces of heaven on earth, but if you're pressed for time or watching the pennies, don't worry. You can recreate a spa experience at home using SenSpa's own range of products and best of all, they're affordable and cruelty-free. Everything is also free from parabens, sulphates, petrochemicals and animal ingredients, and all the products are made here in the UK.

I've been testing out these two skincare treats from SenSpa for the past month to give you a taster of what they have to offer.
SenSpa One Minute Radiance Mask & Pure Luxe Serum In Oil review
SenSpa One Minute Radiance Mask* (100ml, £9.99, link)
The name of this face mask immediately jumped out at me when I first saw it - I mean who doesn't want radiant skin in just a minute?! This award-winning (it won a Natural Health Beauty Award last year) exfoliating mask is a real treat for anyone who's short on time. Made with a special 'triple action' formula, it utilises five main herbal extracts (Bilberry, Sugar Cane extract, Sugar Maple, Orange and Lemon) to effectively cleanse, exfoliate and revitalise the skin.

This mask is a fantastic one to reach for when your skin is looking dull and feeling congested as it helps to unclog blocked pores and clear up the complexion. It's a manual exfoliating mask so there are tiny 'scrubby bits' in the creamy base, but they exfoliate the skin gently and don't feel harsh at all. Although you can leave the mask on for just a minute, I've been finding it much more effective leaving it on for at least five so that all the ingredients can work their magic for a little longer which gives me super smooth results!

SenSpa Pure Luxe Serum In Oil* (30ml, £14.99, link)
Serums are by far one of the most expensive skincare products that you can purchase, and it's hard to find affordable ones that work as well as higher end equivalents. This one however, exceeded all of my expectations and performs on a similar level to serums which I've used that are three times as expensive. Like the Radiance Mask, this formula is also 97% natural, and it's rich in Peptides, Amino Acids and Green Microalgae to deliver a real natural radiance and lifting boost to the skin.

The texture feels like a normal serum but is really more of a serum/oil hybrid (similar to Caudalie Premier Cru Elixir which I love). It's lightweight and easily absorbed with no greasiness or sticky feeling afterwards, and makes my skin look healthier and brighter. It doesn't tackle fine lines as well as the Caudalie Premier Cru Elixir but for a mere third of the price, it's a worthy budget friendly alternative to check out.

Available from Waitrose and direct from senspa.co.uk

Green Beauty: 5 Natural & Organic Lip Balms To Try (All Under £5)

Green Beauty: 5 Natural Lip Balms To Try
Lip balm is an absolute beauty essential for me. I have countless tubes in every bag, every drawer, and on most surfaces scattered about in my bedroom. In my stash, I have an assortment of various brands and flavours, but there is one thing that unites all the lip balms that I own together.

None of them contains any mineral oil or any other petroleum derivatives.

I used to religiously use Vaseline on my lips throughout my teens because everyone else that I knew did, and I had no idea why my lips still cracked or felt dry. I thought it was because I wasn't using enough of it, so I'd apply more and more just to stop my lips from feeling dry all the time. As those little round tins of Vaseline were always cheap in Boots, I never really properly thought about it until I started beauty blogging. I finally ditched the Vaseline for good a couple of years ago and I've bought natural based lip balms ever since.

I can definitely say that my lips are much, much happier! Some people can use products with mineral oil in and have no problems with it, but for me, things like Vaseline just didn't work in the long term, and when something doesn't work, it's time for a change!

I've tried out a LOT of organic and natural lip balms over the years and I've become somewhat addicted to buying them. Below are just five that I'd recommend if you're looking for a new natural based lip balm to keep your lips smooth and hydrated.
Green Beauty: 5 Natural Lip Balms To Try
Hurraw! Chai Spice Lip Balm* (4.3g, £4.99, link)
Hurraw! are one of my all time favourite lip balms brands. They have a huge range of different flavours available where you can pick up anything from Root Beer to Earl Grey, and all the ones that I've tried have tasted pretty damn good. Of course, flavour isn't everything with a lip balm, and I'm happy to report that the vegan-friendly formulas of these are just fantastic. They're made from all natural, raw, organic and fair trade ingredients comprised of a blend plant-based oils and waxes for soft, moisturised lips every time. I also love the curved oval shape of the balm which fits the contours of my mouth perfectly for easy on-the-go application.

Skin & Tonic Peppermint Lip Balm* (4.3g, £3.50, link)
British brand Skin & Tonic have created an excellent peppermint lip balm that's 100% natural and 100% organic (Soil Association accredited) for a bargain price and it shares the same cool oval shape as the Hurraw! lip balm above. It's made with just four ingredients; Shea Butter, Beeswax, Coconut Oil and Peppermint Oil, so if you're looking for a simple and fuss-free natural lip balm, give this one a go.

Naked Lips Organic Lip Balm in Superfruits* (4.25g, £4, link)
Naked Lips are a recent green beauty discovery for me and I've been really enjoying this lip balm in the Superfruits flavour. They have a good range of flavours and carry some tinted lip balms as well in various shades which look great if you want a sheer wash of colour on your lips. Their formulas are 100% natural and 97% organic (Eco-cert certified) and feature a mixed base of natural oils and waxes blended with Vitamin E and antioxidant ingredients.

Epic Blend More Moisture Lip Balm in Grape* (4.2g, £3.99, link)
If you have extremely dry or cracked lips that need a super strength lip balm, check out this one. Epic Blend offers some special 'more moisture' formulas alongside their regular lip balms, and these are perfect for anyone who is battling with the drying effects of Winter. The More Moisture lip balm is packed full organic ingredients such as Cocoa Butter, Beeswax, Coconut Oil and Shea Butter, plus this grape flavour smells and tastes amazing!

Fairfield Gardens Lip Balm in Raspberry Rose* (4.25g, £3.89, link)
My final recommendation for this post comes from the British brand Fairfield Gardens who use a mix of organic beeswax, plant oils, pure essential oils and botanical extracts in their balms. They source at least 80% of their ingredients from the UK to minimise their carbon footprint for a more eco-friendly lip balm. I like this flavour Raspberry Rose as it's a classic fruity-floral coupled with a moisturising balm texture.

What are your favourite natural and organic lip balms?

New In Beauty: DHC Quick Film Smoother, Gel Pencil Eyeliners EX & Coenzyme Q10 Sheet Mask review

DHC Quick Film Smoother, Gel Pencil Eyeliners & Q10 Sheet Mask review
Cult Japanese brand DHC, released some new skincare and makeup products last month and I've been busy testing them out.

I have a major soft spot for anything Japanese (Tokyo is still one of my favourite cities that I've had the pleasure of visiting and I desperately want to go back!), and DHC are probably one of the easiest Japanese brands to buy over here in the UK. Their Deep Cleansing Oil is a fantastic oil-based makeup remover which removes everything (and I mean everything!) and I regularly see many of their other skincare products popping up on my Instagram feed.

But anyway, let's check out these shiny new products, shall we?
DHC Quick Film Smoother
DHC Quick Film Smoother* (25g, £17.50, link)

The Quick Film Smoother is a light moisturiser with a primary aim of reducing the appearance of fine lines by plumping them up and softening them, and it also gives the skin a bit of extra moisture. It uses key ingredients such as ESM (Egg Shell Membrane) Peptides to give an immediate smoothing effect, Seaweed extract to instantly lift, and a Soybean Protein complex to draw in moisture and help protect the skin's elasticity through long term use.

As I'm still in my twenties, I don't have any wrinkles yet, but I do have some fine lines around my eyes from staring at screens all day and this does work on those to gently smooth them out. It seems to be more of a temporary quick fix though because as soon as I wash my face in the evening, the fine lines are back. However, I much prefer to use this product as a makeup primer as it helps to create a nice smooth surface, and the light gel cream texture feels great. Mature skins will definitely appreciate this more, but I will happily keep it in my makeup bag as a primer.
DHC Gel Pencil Eyeliners EX in Black & Brown
DHC Gel Pencil Eyeliners EX in Black & Brown
DHC Gel Pencil Eyeliners EX in Black & Brown* (0.1g, £9.50 each, link)

I wasn't aware that DHC even had a makeup range until these new eyeliners arrived, and if they're anything to go by, I'll definitely be checking out some more from them! I use gel eyeliners probably as much as I use liquid ones, and these are really good. These twist-up liners apply smoothly and they don't smudge or budge for a good 7-8 hours which is impressive for me as I have quite oily eyelids, so they may last longer on you if you don't have this problem. The tips are small and fine so they're great to use for tight-lining to achieve a precise finish, and I personally love using them on my lower waterline when I'm in the mood for a smokey eye.

I've tried out both the brown and the black shades, and I have to say that the brown is more richly pigmented with one swipe than the black, but the black is still strong and it's great to build up for a more dramatic evening look.
DHC Gel Pencil Eyeliners EX in Black & Brown swatches
DHC Gel Pencil Eyeliners EX in Black & Brown
DHC Coenzyme Q10 Sheet Mask
DHC Coenzyme Q10 Sheet Mask* (1 mask, £4.50, link)

You guys all know that I love sheet masks so I always get excited when I get the chance to try out a new one. I've used some other sheet masks from DHC before and they were just OK, but this newbie definitely gets a thumbs up from me. The Coenzyme Q10 mask is mainly for moisturising, firming and targeting fine lines and wrinkles, yet I feel that anyone who has dry or dehydrated skin will see a positive result from using this, regardless of your age.

It's formulated with Coenzyme Q10, a popular and powerful antioxidant enzyme which has been proven to help support the production of collagen and fight free radical damage, whilst Vitamins C & E have been included for brightness and hydration. I've only tried this mask once, but after 20 minutes, my skin felt instantly smoother and softer. Oddly enough though, I noticed that the results became better and more visible a few hours later, as I began to see a bigger difference in how plumped up and hydrated my skin was. A good one to try if you love moisturising sheet masks!

Organic Skincare: S5 Calm Serum & Illuminate Serum review

S5 Calm Serum & Illuminate Serum review
S5 are an organic green beauty brand who I've tried a couple of things from before in the past, but they are mainly known for their targeted treatment serums. Each serum addresses one of the five most common skin concerns (blemishes, sensitivity, dryness, hyperpigmentation and premature ageing), and they can be mixed and matched to meet your individual needs.

What I find really interesting about this brand is that use bioactive ingredients which are found in the most extreme ecosystems around the world. Being an Environmental Science student, I find ecosystems particularly fascinating, and the more extreme one is, the more I'm enthralled by it! The general idea behind using these ingredients from places like The Artic, Desert, Rainforests, High Altitude regions and the Sea is that whatever plants have thrived in these extreme regions have evolved over millions of years to be highly resilient to the elements around it, meaning that they're pretty badass.

So S5 have taken this concept and used these bio-actives to create highly effective skincare formulas to resolve our skin concerns and help it against the stresses of our modern day world. Everything that S5 produce is Ecocert organic certified and all the formulas are made from naturally derived ingredients so they're free from 'nasties' like SLS/SLES, parabens, mineral oil, silicones, GMO ingredients etc.

I've been testing out two of these targeted serums for the past six weeks:-
S5 Calm Serum review
 S5 Calm Serum* (30ml, £44, link)

As you can probably already guess by the name, S5's Calm Serum is for anyone who is experiencing redness, irritation or has overall sensitive skin. My skin has always been on the troublesome side of things - sometimes it's OK, other times it acts like a screaming toddler! As the sensitivity problems for me can flare up badly on occasions, having a reliable and effective calming serum like this one in my skincare stash sounds very beneficial. Key ingredients in this serum include;

  • Marine Bioactives - help to reduce persistent redness by 20% and also reduces signs of hyper-reactivity.
  • Natural Hyaluronic Acid - a fantastic ingredient that I always look for in skincare as helps to lock in moisture, keeping skin hydrated and diminishing the signs of fine lines.
  • Desert Glycoproteins - produced by a unique bacteria in the Wadi Desert, they help to increase hydration and reduce any roughness.
  • Marine Peptides - improve the appearance of skin's vascularisation.

The serum is a typical slightly thin and runny formula which is easily absorbed and doesn't feel greasy or sticky. To my nose, it doesn't have any strong scent, just a very subtle 'freshness', and it applies smoothly onto the skin. As with all of my serums, I've been using it in the evening after cleansing and toning before applying my moisturiser, and this has been working really well at reducing the redness around my nose and cheeks. However, this did take at least a fortnight of regular use before I started to see any differences in my skin, but now after six weeks, my skin definitely feels less sensitive overall and much smoother than it was before.
S5 Illuminate Serum review
S5 Illuminate Serum* (30ml, £44, link)

S5's Illuminate Serum, on the other hand, is designed as a targeted lightening treatment for hyperpigmentation and for helping to even out an uneven skin tone. I have some minor hyperpigmentation around my mouth and chin which isn't that noticeable in all reality, but it's something that I would like to have lightened/evened out so I can feel more confident about wearing less makeup day to day. My skin also looks dull quite a lot, especially during the winter months (a common problem for many Brits), so I've been keen to try an illuminating serum to see if it would help brighten things up! I did try a small sample of this a few years ago and remember getting some good results from it and therefore I've been curious to see what it would be like to try it on a longer term basis with a full-size bottle. This serum contains an expert blend of key ingredients such as;

  • Alpine Bioactives - help to increase skin's lightness by 15%.
  • High Altitude Maca - helps stimulate cellular renewal and reduces the appearance of wrinkles.
  • Marine Actives - protects against sun damage and reduces UV cellular damage.
  • Papaya Enzymes - these are great as they gently exfoliate without the need for manual 'scrubby' bits so one to look out for if you have sensitive skin.

The composition of this serum is very similar to the Calm one above, but maybe ever so slightly a tiny bit thicker. It's still easily absorbed, non-sticky/greasy, and doesn't have any strong or offensive scent. I was expecting to see a slow start to any noticeable results as the Calm serum took a while to kick in, but this one performed much quicker for me as I saw a difference after only a week. My skin had a much more noticeable, brighter glow about it in the mornings and I saw some very subtle lightness on my hyperpigmentation areas. I would say that this serum benefits from being used in conjunction with a good quality SPF to further protect the skin, and it's certainly one to look into if you want a brighter, more even skin tone.

S5 products are available from Naturisimo.com who offer free worldwide shipping

Beauty Box: Love Me Beauty - February 2017 review

Thursday, 16 February 2017

Love Me Beauty - February 2017 review
After seeing a couple of spoilers on Instagram for the Love Me Beauty makeup bag this month, I was looking forward to mine arriving as I can't get enough of cute designs like this!

If you're new to Love Me Beauty, they're a beauty subscription box with two main differences. Firstly, you get to choose the products that you want each month from an online 'Edit' with 'credits', and you can purchase additional credits if you want more products, and secondly, you receive your products in a makeup bag instead of a box which usually means that it'll fit through your letterbox. My friend Sophie gifted me a six-month subscription with them for Christmas, and I've been enjoying it so far as they have a lot of brands in their Edits which I love (this month's had NUXE, Kat Von D, Aromatherapy Associates, Makeup Forever and Charlotte Tilbury to give you an idea).

From February's Love Me Beauty Edit, I chose the following:-
Love Me Beauty - February 2017 review
NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Or in Golden Shimmer (10ml travel size)
If you haven't smelt the classic Nuxe Prodigieuse fragrance, then you need to - it's one of my favourite scents and I always have to have a bottle of the original oil in my beauty stash because it's so versatile. This is the Golden Shimmer version which is infused with lots of light reflecting shimmer in that fantastic multi-purpose oil base. You can use it anywhere on the face, body and hair, and I tend to save it for the summer months to use on my arms and legs when I've got a tan on holiday because it adds such a lovely, healthy looking glow. One for the holiday bag for sure!

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper (0.2ml travel size)
This is a seriously amazing liquid eyeliner with a nifty fine tip for getting that coveted cat eye flick nailed down. It's richly pigmented, waterproof and long-lasting - what more could you want from a liquid eyeliner?!

Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick in Mercy (1.2g travel size)
I seem to be collecting mini lipsticks at the moment, but I just couldn't pass up on this beauty. I have another one of these in the shade Magick which I swatched here a while back, and I absolutely loved the formula so I was keen to try out more. This shade Mercy is a stunning deep berry, plum colour on the lips with some violet shimmer to make it stand out. I don't have anything like this in my makeup collection - it's quite different and surprisingly wearable for a vampy evening look.

NUXE Reve de Miel Lip Balm (15ml full size - RRP £9.50)
Regular readers will know about my love for this lip balm and I'm happy to be reunited with it once more! I've gone through my fair share of these pots of honey infused balmy goodness and it's still very high up in my best lip balms on the planet list. If you're a lip balm addict and you haven't yet tried this, you must!
