Happy New Year! I'm having a major clear out / declutter this week, so it's time that I posted my December Empties don't you think? I'm very pleased with what I managed to use up last month, but I'm still sad to see a few of these go!
This my second pink jar of this amazing balm cleanser from Cornish brand, Spiezia, and it's always a pleasure to use. Nice and thick but melts into the skin after a good old massage, and removes all traces of makeup (including waterproof) and daily grime. Lasts ages too. Repurchase? I've noticed that it's been repackaged so I just need to check that it's still the same formula. If it is, I'd happily repurchase this again.
Korres Body Milk in Bergamot Pear
Used up this travel size over the holidays and loved it. Gorgeous clean and fresh scent, and it helped to keep my dry skin hydrated and protected against the cold winter elements. Repurchase? Yes.
Bodhi & Birch Rosa Rosa Hydrating Toner*
A beautiful floral water toner which is perfect to use during the winter months, and is ideal as a hydrating spritz after using acids in your skincare routine. This bottle has lasted me such a long time! Repurchase? I have a couple of other toners to use up first, but I'd definitely pick this up again in the future.
L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream
One of my go-to winter hand creams that never lets me down. It's wonderfully thick and moisturising, but doesn't feel sticky or greasy afterwards. Lost count of how many tubes of these I've gone through over the years. Repurchase? Already have another one in my stash.
Herbfarmacy Pure Hydration Serum
This is one of the best green beauty / natural serums that I've tried to date, and it works better than a lot of the more expensive, mainstream ones I've used in the past. Feels super lightweight and absorbs immediately, whilst boosting moisture levels and keeping dryness at bay. I think this is the second or third tube that I've used up of it. Repurchase? Yes.
Nourish Kale Enzymatic Exfoliating Cleanser
Another green beauty fave that I've used up a tube of in the past. I really love how gentle this non-manual exfoliating cleanser is (it uses fruit acids in pomegranate enzymes instead of 'scrubby bits' to exfoliate), yet it's very effective, and always leaves my skin glowing afterwards. Works really well as a quick face mask too. Repurchase? Will do once I've used up some similar products first.
Bamford Body Wash
Love this - smells incredible (very fresh and awakening) and is another travel size that I got through over the holidays. Have used it before and always enjoy treating myself to it. SLS free and very luxurious. Repurchase? On my wishlist as it's pricey!
The Library Of Fragrance Pistachio Ice Cream Perfume*
It seriously takes me forever to get through perfume, so I'm happy that I've finally, finally finished one! I'm a big fan of The Library Of Fragrances' unusual scents, and Pistachio Ice Cream is a deliciously sweet, nostalgic treat. Repurchase? Yes.
Jurlique Rose Love Balm
Received this in a gift set last Christmas and loved using it. Great rose-scented, multipurpose balm that I mainly used on my cuticles and lips. Repurchase? I have a million balms to use up first, but it's one I would pick up again in the future for sure.
Aveda Shampure Composition Oil in Shampure*
For baths, I've mainly been using my favourite oil from Aveda which comes in their gorgeous Shampure scent. You can also use this as a scalp treatment and all over body oil, but I tend to keep it for special pampering bath moments as it's quite expensive. Repurchase? Received another one for Christmas in a gift set - thanks Santa!
What beauty products have you used up recently?
Have you tried any of these?
Loved this post.
