The Vegan Kind Lifestyle Box - October 2016 review
It's another jam-packed box from The Vegan Kind this month! Shall we take a closer look at what's inside?

October's The Vegan Kind box contains seven items and is a great mix of sweet, savoury and drink products. As the name suggests, everything included is suitable for vegans, and I love the variety this month.
BakedIn Sticky Toffee Pudding
BakedIn Sticky Toffee Pudding (3 cakes, RRP £3.50)
Did someone say Sticky Toffee Pudding? Erm, yes please! These fast and convenient little tubs of cake mix allow you to whip up a yummy dessert in under two minutes in the microwave. Just add your favourite dairy free butter and milk, and you're ready to go. I've had these before from a different box and they are delicious!
Sweet Freedom Fruit Syrup
Sweet Freedom Fruit Syrup (350g - RRP £2.99)
I'm a huge fan of Sweet Freedom's Choc Shots, but haven't seen or tried this Fruit Syrup before. Made from just apples, grapes and carob, this syrup is an ideal alternative to honey and is lower in fructose than table sugar, honey and agave syrup. It also has a low GI so can be used in small amounts by diabetics (always read the label), and helps to reduce sugary highs and lows. Can be used in lots of different ways such as baking, in porridge and tea, drizzled over pancakes etc, and is only 13 calories per teaspoon - how cool is that?
The Jealous Life Tangy Worms
The Jealous Life Tangy Worms (50g - £2.49)
When it comes to chewy sweets, I love anything that's fizzy and sour, and these tangy worms certainly hit the spot! Gelatine free, gluten-free, and made with no artificial colours or preservatives - I only wish the bag was bigger!
All Glamour No Guts Vegan Enamel Pin
All Glamour No Guts Vegan Enamel Pin (RRP £5)
Vegan pin badge from All Glamour No Guts, a small and independent vegan apparel and accessory brand based in Norwich. All of their products are vegan, environmentally friendly and sweatshop free, with 10% of their profits being donated to the Hillside Animal Sanctuary.
Ten Acre When The Chilli Got Sweet Crisps
Ten Acre When The Chilli Got Sweet Crisps (40g - RRP £0.85)
I've had these before and they are delicious - crunchy hand cooked crisps with a sweet chilli flavour - simple but great with a sandwich or a bowl of soup. Yum! Gluten free, dairy free and MSG free.
Crushed Apple and Banana Fruit Pouch
Crushed Apple and Banana Fruit Pouch (100g - RRP £1)
These remind me of something similar that my mum used to pack in my lunchbox; a squeezy pouch of 100% crushed fruit - apple, banana and a dash of apple juice, nothing else. Counts as one of your five a day and also tastes good semi-frozen as a fruity slushy treat.
Oatly Oat Drink
Oatly Oat Drink (250ml - RRP £0.79)
I've tried a lot of plant-based milk alternatives but I've never had an oat based one before so this one was different! It needs a good shake before you use it, but it has a lovely, sweet (but not too sweet) taste, and I enjoyed this carton in two bowls of porridge. Would definitely look at their other flavours in the future.

Also included in the box was a discount voucher for a full-size carton of Oatly, £10 voucher off your first box from Natural Blender, who specialise in delivering fresh superfood smoothie kits, and a recipe card from The Tofu Diaries for some Sweet Potato Brownies which look good!

Charity: 10p from every October TVK box sold is being donated to The Bodhi Shelter And Clinic which cares for abused and neglected dogs in Phuket, Thailand - you can check them out here.
