This month's Empties are a good mix of full size and travel size products, so let's get stuck in! Here's what I've managed to finish off and my thoughts about whether I would repurchase them again or not.
Used up one or two of these before and managed to pick up this one when it was on offer for about a fiver in TK Maxx earlier this year. It comes out like a thick shaving foam which is the weirdest thing ever when you're used to normal hair masks, but it works a treat for conditioning fine hair without weighing it down. Repurchase? I don't think it's worth the full price tag as there are other hair masks in that price range that I love more, but if I see it on offer again, I would probably buy it.
Betty Hula The Secret Wonder Oil
This is a fantastic, all-natural, multi-purpose oil that you can use everywhere and anywhere to treat dry skin. It's also great for using as a face oil when travelling as it comes in a handy rollerball, and always leaves my skin soft and glowing whenever I use it. Repurchase? Yes.
Botanicals Calming Body Lotion*
If you get little red bumps after shaving your legs, you need to try this out. It really lives up to its name and helps to calm down irritated skin, whilst also preventing ingrown hairs. Smells of lavender so ideal to use before going to bed and it contains 90% organic ingredients. Repurchase? Yes.
S5 Illuminate Serum
From a skincare set I received at Christmas, I really enjoyed using this mini bottle and was surprised by how many applications I managed to get out of it. A brilliant serum for anyone who has hyper pigmentation as it helps to reduce the appearance of it, and adds a lovely radiance/brightening effect to dull skin. Repurchase? Will definitely consider saving up for the full size!
LUSH The Olive Branch Shower Gel
Another product that I've gone through bottles of in the past - I love, love the scent of this and have yet to find anything that smells the same. Gorgeous almost musky/heady unisex scent with lots of bergamot and mandarin. Repurchase? Yes.
Eucerin Mattifying Sun Fluid SPF 30
I always forget to include my sunscreen empties so when I finished this one up, I made sure to pop it straight into my empties box! This is one of the few highstreet sunscreens that doesn't break me out so I like to alternate it with some of my higher end ones. Does the job and is often on offer in Boots. Repurchase? I'm using up my Solait one at the moment but would buy again in the future.
Botanicals Hydrating Mist*
If you like your floral water spritz to be all natural and high quality, you can't go wrong with this one. 100% organic and just a lovely refreshing toner. I've kept it in the fridge and it's been such a pleasure to use on these recent hot summer days. Repurchase? I have a bunch of toners to get through, but I would pick it up again at some point.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo +
Although you can use this all over as a general moisturiser, I prefer to use it as more of a targeted spot treatment, and to apply it just on any blemish scars. It works well at fading these, but it's not an overnight miracle product so it takes weeks, rather than days to see any results. I get through a tube of this every couple of months and always have one in my skincare stash. Repurchase? Yes.
What beauty products have you used up recently?
Have you tried any of these?
The illuminate serum sounds like it could be great!

Completely agree, I always seem to use it during Summer!
DeleteI always seem to overlook the shower gels in Lush (except Snow Fairy in winter!) but I think this needs to change, The Olive Branch sounds so lovely! xx

I love Snow Fairy! Their shower gels smell so good, the Happy Hippy one is another favourite of mine alongside The Olive Branch :) xx
