Is it really the end of another month already?! Here are my June empties then - all of the products that I've managed to use up recently, my thoughts on them and whether I will be repurchasing them again or not.
This was a magazine freebie last year, and I absolutely adore this Bee Lovely range from NYR. The scent of this is wonderfully citrusy, uplifting and summery and the formula of the body lotion itself is brilliant - super moisturising but not sticky or greasy at all. Repurchase? Definitely at some point - I really want to splurge on a full-size bottle, but I'm being sensible and forcing myself to use up some other body lotions first, as I have way too many already open and on the go!
Melvita Rose Extraordinary Water
Used this before as I seem to have acquired a couple of these mini bottles from various beauty boxes. It's an organic rosewater toner with some extra ingredients added such as Hyaluronic Acid, so it feels very refreshing and hydrating on the skin. Always a pleasure to use and it does feel different to other rosewater toners that I've used in the past. Repurchase? On my wishlist as it's quite pricey.
The Moroccan Argan Oil Co 100% Pure Organic Argan Oil
I regularly use argan oil on my hair as an intensive overnight treatment, and also on my face as an evening oil if it's feeling a bit sensitive or dehydrated. Works a treat! I like this one because it's just pure cold-pressed organic argan oil, plus it's very affordable and a bottle lasts ages. Repurchase? Already have.
Epic Blend Hemp Banana Lip Balm*
This was great - very moisturising with long lasting effects and had a delicious banana flavour - yum! Repurchase? Will do once I've gotten through some other ones.
Boots Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover
I always use this nail polish remover as my nails are quite weak and I find that acetone based ones just weaken them further. Only £1 in Boots and gets the job done. Repurchase? Already have.
Weleda Wild Rose Creamy Body Wash*
If you love moisturising creamy body washes and fresh roses, you'll love this. I'm a big fan of these - this one was from my travel bag. Repurchase? Yes, I'd definitely buy the full size.
REN Moroccan Rose Gold Glow Perfect Dry Oil*
I've had on this on the go for about a year and kept it mostly for special occasions. An amazing dry oil that leaves a glowy sheen on the skin (great for bare legs) and it has the most gorgeous scent. A proper luxury princess product that's ideal for evenings out and holidays. Repurchase? On the wishlist!
What beauty products have you used up recently?
Have you tried any of these?
banana lip balm sounds rather nice, will have to go check that out :D
ReplyDeleteThey do lots of different flavours but banana's my fave :)
DeleteI must try the REN Moroccan Rose Gold Glow Perfect Dry Oil as I use the body lotion & utterly adore the scent so thinking the dry oil would be fabulous for holidays in the sun. Thank you :)
ReplyDeleteThis one has a different scent to the REN Moroccan Rose Body Lotion as it's less rose/floral - difficult to describe but it smells incredible! If you have a REN counter near you in a department store, go have a sniff :)
DeleteYou've got through loads! And a lot catch my eye x
ReplyDeleteI've had some of these on the go for about a year so it's not too impressive lol :D x
DeleteThe Neals Yard lotion sounds so nice x
ReplyDeleteHeather | Of Beauty & Nothingness x
It smells amazing :) x
DeleteWould you say the acetone free remover works just as well as normal acetone ones? xx
ReplyDeleteI have to use more of it to get everything off but that's the only difference I've noticed. Regular acetone nail polish removers just seem to destroy my nails so I don't mind the extra effort with this one! xx
