My March Empties showcase another mixed bunch of products that I've managed to use up recently - some of these I've had on the go for a long time! Here were have some haircare, skincare, one or two pampering treats, plus my overall thoughts on them. One product in particular needs to be avoided!
I repurchased this bottle just before Christmas when I had a discount code, so it's lasted me a good three or so months of regular usage. Lovely all natural, mostly organic formula, that's gentle on sensitive skin. Light and easily absorbed - I love the pump applicator too. Repurchase? Yes.
Neal's Yard Remedies Geranium & Orange Hand Cream
One of my HG hand creams, I had to take the scissors to this tube to get out every last little bit! The scent of this is truly heavenly and the hand cream itself feels nourishing without being thick in texture so it's ideal for using during the day / on the go. Repurchase? I'll be picking it up again as a freebie with Marie Claire magazine this month and urge you all to do the same!
Scentered Stress Less Therapy Balm
Regular readers will know that I'm a big fan of aromatherapy, and I really enjoyed using this twist up, chunky balm stick which is infused with calming essential oils. I'd dab it onto my pulse points and breathe it in for a few minutes when I was feeling stressed and it did help me to relax and re-focus. Repurchase? Already using another one that I got in a Naturisimo beauty box.
Salon Science Cellucovery Scalp Tonic
I was so excited to try this when it arrived in February's You Beauty Box, but I've been left sorely disappointed. I used it as directed and saw absolutely no difference to my hair, other than it left my scalp looking greasy and feeling itchy. Awful! Repurchase? No, I've picked up another bottle of Swell Root Nutrient Complex which is what I'd highly recommend getting instead.
Tisserand Winter Warming Bath Oil*
From Christmas time again, this bottle has given me so many pampering baths. A great one to reach for if you're a fan of festive essential oils like Clove, Rosemary, Eucalyptus, Pine & Cedarwood. Repurchase? Yes, though nearer A/W as I always associate these scents with colder weather.
Khadi Hibiscus Shampoo*
If you have a sensitive, dry, dandruff prone scalp, definitely check out this shampoo as I find it really helps to rebalance mine without stripping it. The scent takes some getting used to as it's very herbal and earthy but it works and a little goes a long way. Repurchase? Will do after I've used up some other shampoos.
Pure Potions Scar Oil*
This huge 50ml bottle has lasted me about a year as I used it exclusively for any blemish scarring on my face, although it is multipurpose and can be used on stretch marks and other scars too. It's composed of a blend of all natural oils including Rosehip, and I found it to be gentle yet effective. A good product to have in your stash if you're prone to breakouts. Repurchase? Yes.
