Sometimes, the best thing to come home to after a long day is a nice hot bath. It's one of the simplest ways to treat yourself and it always helps me to relax and unwind. In my bathroom this week are these two treats from natural, eco-friendly brand, WiDEYE.
If you read my Health & Lifestyle post last week, you'll have seen that I mentioned some WiDEYE Multi-Vitamins that I've been taking recently, and they also have a large range of skincare, candles, bath and body products. Based in the beautiful Rye in East Sussex, all of their products are cruelty-free, and free from all the usual 'chemical nasties' like parabens, synthetic dyes, artificial colours etc, and they list the full ingredients of each product they make on their website. WiDEYE pride themselves on creating all natural products that speak for themselves so there's no excessive gimmicky packaging or anything like that and they use recycled packaging as much as possible in order to be as earth-friendly as they can. I also like the fact that all of their products are very reasonably priced, making green beauty much more accessible to even more people.
For this pampering review feature, WiDEYE kindly sent me these two gorgeous treats:-
WiDEYE Late Lounge Bath Bomb* (250g, £3.25, link)
If you're looking for a more natural, greener alternative to LUSH's famous Bath Bombs, you need to check these ones out. The Late Lounge Bath Bomb is one of WiDEYE's signature scents and it smells absolutely gorgeous. It's got essential oils of Ylang Ylang, Geranium and Petitgrain so it's a lovely relaxing, romantic floral scent, and it also features Cocoa Butter chips that gently melt in the bath to leave your skin feeling all pampered and moisturised afterwards. If that doesn't sound enticing enough, there are a few dried Rose Petals included so this would be a perfect choice for Valentine's Day if you're cosying up at home.
WiDEYE Vanilla & Lemongrass Soy Wax Candle* (£5.95, link)
I always like to have a candle or two burning whilst I enjoy a bath and chose this one to compliment the floral-ness of the bath bomb above. These candles are made from 100% soy wax (which burn cleaner and produce 90% less soot than paraffin wax candles) which is blended with pure natural essential oils and then hand poured into a frosted glass votive (can be either square or round depending on your personal decor preferences). I was pleasantly surprised by the scent throw as it's quite a small candle but the scent was beautiful; a warming mix of sweet Vanilla with uplifting Lemongrass - pure bliss.
