My Top 16 Beauty Products of 2015 - The Best Of The Best

Thursday, 7 January 2016

Top 16?! But you're only supposed to choose 15 products I hear you cry! Sorry guys, it was hard enough trying to shortlist these as it was so I'm giving you a cheeky extra one completely free of charge. Here's are my 2015 beauty favourites!

(1) This Works Sleep Plus Pillow Spray* (review)
If you have trouble sleeping, you need to try this. Yes it's expensive, but it's a concentrated formula so you only need to use 1-2 sprays each time and it works a charm. Amazing stuff.

(2) Swell Ultimate Volume Masque (review)
I've long since used up the full sized tube of this so pictured is a travel version whilst I save up for another big one. This is seriously one of the best hair masks for fine hair that I've ever tried and delivers some great bouncy volume. Holy grail goodness!

(3) Weleda Almond Sensitive Skin Body Lotion* (review)
Sensitive skin and almond lovers unite - I absolutely adore this body lotion. Gentle, hydrating and lasts ages.

(4) Bondi Sands Self Tanning Mist* (review)
I tried out a lot of self-tanning brands in 2015 and had a lot of success with the majority of them. However, I'm crowning Bondi Sands the winner as it has the most natural looking colour and lovely coconut based scent.

(5) COLAB Dry Shampoo in Monaco (review)
Out of all of the famous blogger product releases last year, Ruth Crilly's COLAB Dry shampoo simply reigned supreme with its fantastic invisible, non-sticky formula. Congrats Ruth!
(6) Caudalie Instant Detox Mask* (review)
It was so hard picking just one face mask to include, but eventually, I settled on Caudalie's Instant Detox Mask because it's the one I have reached for the most often and I've now accumulated three tubes of the stuff in my stash! Awesome detoxer for troublesome skin without stripping it.

(7) Pinks Boutique Ultimate Anti-Oxidant Renewal Eye Cream* (review)
This organic beauty managed to sneak its way in at the last minute as I only reviewed this back in December, but it's fair to say I have been wholly impressed by it. The tiniest amount goes a long, long way and it's one of the very few eye creams that I've seen a noticeable difference with.

(8) REN Wake Wonderful Night Facial* (review)
Amazing skin brightener that seems to eradicate dull skin virtually overnight leaving it glowy come morning. I don't know how it works, but it does!

(9) Nude Progenius Omega Treatment Rescue Oil (review)
My favourite face oil discovery of 2015 - a must for anyone who has sensitive skin that likes to throw tantrums every now and then. This really helps to calm everything down and restore the balance.

(10) Scentered Stress Less Therapy Balm (review)
Great little all-natural balm stick that I like to apply to pulse points when things are getting too hectic for me to handle. Really lovely to use as it forces me to take a moment and stop what I'm doing so I can re-focus.
(11) Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Nude Kate (review)
2015 was the year that I truly fell head over heels in love with Charlotte Tilbury makeup and my purse has been weeping ever since. Nude Kate is the most perfect nude shade for me.

(12) Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (review)
The hype was definitely justified for this mascara - my lashes look amazing with this on and it stays put until you want it to come off.

(13) Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Black Amethyst* (review)
I'm a big fan of Stila's Smudge Sticks but this shade, Black Amethyst, is the bees knees. Super easy to use for a quick smokey eye and it lives up to its waterproof claims perfectly.

(14) Inika Lip Tint in Cosmic* (review
Wonderfully moisturising and gives my lips a sheer wash of colour which makes wearing red shades really easy and far less daunting.

(15) ReCover Correct and Conceal Red* (review)
If you have any redness to your complexion, this will completely cover it up without being thick or cakey. Feels weightless on the skin which is just what I want from a concealer.

(16) Lily Lolo Natural Lipstick in Love Affair* (review)
And lastly, my bonus product that I just couldn't leave out has to be this Lily Lolo lipstick. The formula is moisturising so ideal for the winter months and the shade Love Affair is the perfect everyday colour.

Phew! What have been your 2015 beauty favourites? Love any of these?
