September Empties / Products I've Used Up

Ready for another round of Empties? Here are all of the products that I've used up recently, my final thoughts on them and whether I'll be repurchasing them again or not.

B. Pure Micellar Water
This is one of my favourite dupes for Bioderma and the one that I probably buy the most because it's so affordable. A simple but effective micellar water that removes makeup easily and doesn't irritate my skin. Cruelty-free and suitable for vegans too!  Repurchase? Already have another one on the go from my Superdrug Summer Swap haul.

Conscious Skincare Organic Cold Pressed Hemp Oil*
A truly multi-functional product that I found so useful. I used this for everything - moisturising dry patches and eczema flare-ups, keeping my cuticles hydrated, as an evening facial oil, and even as a post-styling hair oil to keep frizz at bay. This small bottle lasted me about 3-4 months as I only needed to use a drop or two each time. Repurchase? Definitely.

Roques Oneil Therapie Himalayan Detox Salts
This was my last packet, noooooooooooo! I've raved about these before (see my review here) as they are a miracle product to use if you have trouble sleeping. Just sprinkle a small amount into a hot bath and they instantly relax you and give you the best night's sleep later on. Expensive but so worth it. Repurchase? The full size tub is on my Christmas wishlist - are you reading this Santa?!

Inika Mineral Foundation in 05 Patience*
I used up a foundation which is quite impressive for me as I have a few different ones open and they feel like they never end! Again, this is one of my absolute favourites. It gives such a lovely natural looking finish, a bit like 'your skin but better' and is very easy to buff into the skin as well as being buildable if you want more coverage. Repurchase? Patience is my 'summer' shade, so I won't pick this up again until next year but I'm currently using 04 Nurture and it's perfect.

Apivita 3-in-1 Cleansing Milk
I re-purchased a bunch of Apivita products in the Christmas sale from M&S last year, this cleanser being one of them. It doesn't work very well in my opinion for removing make-up, but it's a lovely gentle cleanser that leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. I love using this when my skin is more sensitive than usual as the chamomile and honey in it helps to calm it down and reduce any redness. Huge bottle with a pump, and it that lasts for months. Repurchase? I've gone back to using the Trilogy Cream Cleanser at the moment, but I have no doubt that I'll pick this up again in the near future.

What beauty products have you used up recently?
Have you tried any of these?

  4. I've looked at the Trilogy cream cleanser before but never bought it, maybe I should go back and have a look at it as I love cream cleansers in the winter months xx

    1. I really like it, have used up it before in the past and it's one of those products that I often go back to around this time of year. It's not overly moisturising like some other cream cleansers, which makes it perfect for my oily/combo skin xx

  5. You must be the only person I know that gets on with the B. micellar water! :) I am glad it works for you as you must save a fortune on micellars.

    1. It's weird how they work for some and not for others isn't it?! It's definitely saved me a LOT of money, though I do still buy the Bioderma is I can find a cheeky discount code x
