Swell are one of the best natural haircare brands that I've ever used and I posted a rave review of their award winning 3 Step System for fine hair a few months ago here. Their Advanced Volumizing Masque is currently gracing my bathroom and is the perfect hair treatment for a little mid week pampering.
It's rare to come a hair mask that truly does what it claims, especially when those claims are multiple. Most hair treatments and masks excel at one, whilst struggling to achieve the other desired results, so I'm pleased to have finally come across a hair mask that ticks all the right boxes for me.
Swell Advanced Volumizing Masque is a heaven sent multi-tasker, packed full of 97% natural ingredients and is free from Silicones, Parabens and SLS. It has a typically thick texture, yet feels surprisingly light when you work it through the lengths and ends of your hair. It felt like each strand was 'drinking this up', so it won't weigh down fine hair at all. Depending on the length of your hair, you can leave the masque on from 2 minutes (short hair) until 10 minutes (long hair), though you can leave it on longer if you have particularly dry or damaged hair. The scent is really lovely and fresh too!

I have fine hair which needs every helping hand it can get in the volume department, and it's also damaged at the ends thanks to my blow-drying and straightening habits so it requires some extra repairing TLC. In addition, it's naturally very dry and thus always welcomes a good hydration boost. After rinsing the masque out, my hair was silky soft and easy to manage with minimal frizz. It was also thoroughly moisturised and after drying and styling as usual, I did notice it had more volume and lift than usual. What a great product! Definitely one that I recommend to anyone who has similar hair.
Swell Advanced Volumizing Masque* (150ml, £28) is available from various stockists including Naturisimo.com who offer free worldwide shipping.
Have you tried this or any other Swell products?
My hair would love this mask, it's as flat as a pancake. Love that it's free from silicones and parabens too x
