Bondi Sands - Self Tanning Lotion, Mist, Wash Off, Foam and Gradual Tanning Milk review
I follow a couple of Aussie bloggers so when I heard that Bondi Sands were launching in Superdrug over here in the UK, it was a good day indeed.  I love getting a tan the healthy way by faking it, so I couldn't wait to try some of their products out.

Bondi Sands are one of the best-selling self-tanning brands in Australia, promising salon quality results at home.  One of their other main selling points is that their products are coconut or cocoa butter scented (depending on which one you pick up) which made me hopeful that there wouldn't be any telltale fake tan scents which is always a good thing!  I was kindly given some of their products to test out so here are my thoughts.

Bondi Sands Wash Off Instant Tan* (97ml, £9.99, link)
As the name suggests, this is an instant tan but don't worry, it washes off when you want it to come off.  Packaging is an easy to hold, lightweight and skinny can and to apply, you just shake the can, hold it around 6 inches away from your body, spray where you want it and lightly massage it in to get an even coverage.  The results are very natural looking, even with the Dark shade it just looked like a healthy bronzed/deep tan which I loved!  Very quick and easy to use, great coconut scent and it'll last until you next take a bath or shower.  Heads up though - it can and will go everywhere when you're spraying it, so just put some old towels on the floor or even do it outside.

Bondi Sands Self Tanning Mist* (250ml, £14.99, link
If you try the Instant Tan and love that but want something more long term, then the Self Tanning Mist will become your new best friend.  This is basically the same as above but lasted on me for about a week before starting to fade.  Spritz it on (make sure to put those old towels down!), massage it in with a mitt and allow to develop for around 6 hours.  Results were beautifully natural, not a hint of orange in sight and it had that lovely coconut scent!

Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam* (200ml, £14.99, link)
I personally find foam formulas the easiest to use and this one was brilliant.  Like the mists, it's very easy to use and comes coconut scented so there's no fake tan smell.  I just pumped out some foam onto my mitt and swept it all over my legs, arms etc and repeated until everything was evenly covered.  I left it to develop for 6 hours and again loved the result which was a very natural looking healthy golden glow.  No issues with streaks or patches and it lasted around 5 days before starting to fade.

Bondi Sands Self Tanning Lotion* (200ml, £14.99, link)
For those who prefer the more traditional lotion formulas, Bondi Sands have got one for you!  I don't usually like lotions myself as I've found other brands to be a little too sticky feeling, but this one was perfect and didn't feel like that at all.  Instead it felt hydrating which was ideal for my dry skin, so I applied it with a mitt and I left it to develop for 6 hours as directed.  After showering, I was left with that classic natural looking tan like the other products above have given me, and again I had no problems with streaks or patches.

Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk* (375ml, £11.99, link)
Lastly, I tried out the Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk which is an allover body moisturiser.  You apply it like your normal body moisturiser everyday and after around 3-4 days, you start to see a light natural looking tan.  I liked using this in conjunction with the self-tanning products above to maintain and boost my tan when it was starting to fade, but it would work equally as well as directed for those who just to add a gradual hint of colour to their skin.  This one's Cocoa Butter scented which is really nice!

Summary: I'm seriously impressed with these products from Bondi Sands and have to say that it my favourites are the Foam and Mist (though that's just a personal preference kind of thing!).  The results were consistent throughout all of the self-tanning products so I can happily recommend just going with your favourite type of formula and trying it out for yourself.

Bondi Sands are available in the UK from Superdrug, both instores nationwide and online at superdrug.com.

Have you tried anything from Bondi Sands?
