I'm a huge fan of Jurlique, so whenever one of their new products lands on my doorstep, I'm all over it. I've recently been trying out their latest cleanser - the Clarifying Deep Cleansing Gel.
Jurlique's Clarifying Deep Cleansing Gel is one of those great two in one products that actually work. On one hand, you have a fantastic cleanser that really cleans out the skin, tackles daily grime/dirt and helps to unclog pores. And on the other hand, you have a gentle exfoliator which makes removing impurities super easy too. Marry these two together and you have the Clarifying Deep Cleansing Gel.
I love the formula of this which came as a surprise as I often find cleansing gels a little too drying for my skin, but this one gets the balance right and doesn't feel stripping at all. It features a blend of Botanical Oils like Nettle, Yarrow and Witch Hazel to help purify, tone and clarify the skin, whilst others such as Lemon Balm and Rosemary deal with rebalancing oiliness and controlling excess sebum. There are also tiny natural microspheres derived from Jojoba Oil (fully degradable and non-toxic, so they're not harmful to the environment) which very gently exfoliate the skin, leaving it feeling smoother and looking brighter.
This is definitely a cleanser that I really enjoy using in the morning because it feels (and smells) refreshing and helps to wake up my tired, sleepy skin!
Jurlique Clarifying Deep Cleansing Gel* (125ml, £20) is available from various stockists including direct from jurlique.co.uk - products are free from Sulphates, Petrochemicals, Parabens, PEGs, Silicones, Formaldehyde and Colourants.
