Haircare Review: Living Nature Balancing Shampoo and Conditioner
I'm very fickle when it comes to haircare and tend to chop and change my shampoos and conditioners on a regular basis, depending on what state my hair is in at the time.  With the promise of warmer Spring weather on the way, I'm going to be using more balancing formulas which is where these two from Living Nature comes in.

I've been really impressed with most of the products that I've tried so far from the natural New Zealand based brand and especially love their skincare (I highly recommend their Vitalising Exfoliant).  I was kindly sent the above travel sized duo of their Balancing Shampoo and Conditioner to put through their paces and so far, so good!

Living Nature Balancing Shampoo
This is a very gentle SLS free shampoo that only lights foams but it thoroughly cleans hair and doesn't irritate my sensitive scalp.  Most of the main base ingredients in this are derived from Coconut Oil, and there's Shea Butter for added hydration.  There are also extracts of  Kumerahou and Kelp which have natural balancing and clarifying properties, so it's perfect for those who have Oily hair.  Unlike a lot of other balancing shampoos I've tried, this one doesn't feel stripping or drying - instead it gets the balance just right.

Living Nature Balancing Conditioner
The matching conditioner is light in texture and feels hydrating thanks to the many plant based Oils such as Jojoba, Coconut, Olive in the formula.  Plus there's also active Manuka Honey to really nourish the hair and add lots of healthy looking shine.  Best of all, it doesn't weigh down my relatively fine hair.  Win win!

Living Nature Balancing Shampoo & Conditioner* (full sizes are 200ml and £20 each) are available from various stockists including botanicalbrands.com

  1. Ouch, the full-sized bottles seem a little pricey, but I suppose good haircare is worth the price!
