Christmas Gift Idea: Ted Baker The Girl With The Beautiful Face Makeup Set review

There are so many make-up gift sets on the shelves, but Ted Baker's 'The Girl With The Beautiful Face' is one that really stands out.  I can see why this is nearly sold out!

Ted Baker's 'The Girl With The Beautiful Face' is presented with a clear, wraparound sleeve (as shown first) and has a printed design of pastel town houses on the front and sides.  The set comprises of two drawers which are filled with Ted Baker make-up.  I love the re-usability of this set because you can add extra make-up to the drawers if you wanted to and use it as part of your storage system or simply have it pride of place on a dressing table or vanity with makeup brush holders placed on top.

The lid section / first drawer opens up to reveal a small mirror and the continuing design of the pastel town houses around it.  This drawer contains the following full size make-up products:-

Ted Baker Illuminator in Pearly Pink (similar to Benefit's High Beam) and Ted Baker Illuminator in Golden Glow - both very pretty, shimmery liquid highlighters.

Ted Baker Bronzing Compact - a multi-tonal bronzer and blush duo with fine shimmer for a healthy glow and packaged in a rose gold compact with mirror.

Ted Baker Kabuki Brush - generous sized kabuki with soft bristles that you can use with any all over face and bronzing powders.

Ted Baker Nail Varnishes in Coral (bright coral creme) and Silver Foil (metallic shimmery silver).

A closer look at some of my favourites out of this set:-

the Lipstick and Lip Crayon are beautiful shades and feel moisturising on, the Eye Crayons are ideal to work with as base colours and the Liquid Eyeliner has a nifty fine tip for precise application.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the products included in this set as I haven't really tried out any Ted Baker make-up before and didn't know what to expect.  The packaging of all the products is beautiful with the co-ordinating on-trend, rose gold theme and I think that anyone who loves make-up would appreciate this, especially those who are younger or just starting to get into make-up and want to build up a collection - this is an ideal starting point.

Ted Baker The Girl With The Beautiful Face* retails for £40 and if you fancy it, you'll have to be quick!  Many Boots stores have already sold out of it, but I've seen one or two in larger Boots so it's worth trying those first!  If you can find it, it's also in the nationwide 3 for 2 gifts offer as well.
