In need of some quick hair fixes for damaged hair or do you want to give your tresses some extra protection from the wintery elements? If the answer's yes, then you need to check out these two Damage Remedy warriors from Aveda.
Aveda's haircare is something that I've raved about before and they're a particularly good brand to try if you have dry or damaged hair.
Aveda Damage Remedy Intensive Restructuring Treatment* (150ml, £15.30, link)
Like face masks, I rely on hair masks once or twice a week to keep my locks in good condition and as my hair is naturally very dry and prone to breakage, I need all the extra help I can get. Aveda's Intensive Restructuring Treatment is one of those little miracle workers that's perfect for busy people or those who simply don't want to spend hours in the bathroom getting ready. It gets to work in just 2-5 minutes (I always leave it on for the full 5 as my hair is very long) and it's packed full of natural actives such as Quinoa Protein which helps to strengthen fragile and damaged hair. You only need to use this once a week and it transforms even the driest and brittlest barnet into healthy looking, silky soft and smooth hair you'll be proud to swish around.
Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair* (100ml, £20.25, link)
This is a daily leave-in treatment that repairs damaged hair gradually over time and also doubles up as a handy heat protector that you can use with your hairdryer, straighteners and curling wands etc. Like the hair treatment above, it uses natural Quinoa and Wheat Protein to fortify and strengthen hair, leaving it stronger, more manageable and frizz-free. It may seem a little pricey but you only need to use the tiniest amount each time (and I have really, really long hair!) so it actually works out more cost effective than similar products I've used in the past. Best of all though, it doesn't leave hair looking greasy or feeling sticky as it's so lightweight and it smells absolutely amazing.
Have you tried anything from Aveda's Damage Remedy range?
Oh damn lady both of them seem soo good! When my hair gets longer which is how I like it, the tips tend to get rougher and dry and a good smell is also a plus! I will be checking these out! And do head over to my blog soon! I'm holding a beauty giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteThey are fantastic, my hair is the same when it gets longer and these help so much. Will do! :)
DeleteI've never tried anything by Aveda but both of these sound amazing! I particularly like the sound of the Daily Hair Repair xx
