A picture of 5 Mini Reviews: Avon, Bio2You, Weleda, Living Nature & L'Oreal
I'm tackling my ever growing samples stash by actually using some more up!  This round of 5 Mini Reviews features some hit and misses.

(1)  Avon Ideal Flawless Skin Loving BB Cream
I really liked the texture of this because it was light and velvety but it oxidised on me SO badly!  By the end of the day I looked like an oompa loopa - never a good look.
Purchase the full size?  Hell no.

(2)  Bio2You Organic Eye Contour Seabuckthorn Cream*
As a general rule, I love anything that has seabuckthorn in it and this eye cream was no exception.  It was great to use the mornings because it was light, absorbed into the skin quickly and provided a good base for my concealer.  Excellent stuff.
Purchase the full size?  On the wishlist.

(3)  Weleda Wild Rose Facial Oil Smoothing Capsules
Oh my days, where have these been all my life?!  Seriously, these are incredible.  It's an intensive facial oil treatment that you squeeze out of a capsule and gently massage onto your skin to give it a hydration boost.  My skin felt unbelievably soft and moisturised in the morning and dehydration that often shows up on my cheeks had completely disappeared.  Lovely rose scent too.
Purchase the full size?  Definitely will.

(4)  Living Nature Firming Flax Serum*
I was kindly sent a sample pack of these to try out and really enjoyed using them.  The serum is super light and a little goes a long way with it.  I don't think my skin felt any firmer as such, but it certainly made it more hydrated and revitalised which is good enough for me.
Purchase the full size?  Tempted to.

(5)  L'Oreal Ever Riche Shampoo
Given the hype I've read about this shampoo, I had high hopes for it, but I can only say that I thought it was OK.  It didn't wow me but it smelt nice.
Purchase the full size?  Probably not.

Have you tried any of these?

  1. I never find L'Oreal shampoo to be good. I guess I never had luck with that brand. The Avon BB cream doesn't sound that great. Oompah Loompa looks are a big no in my book. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Ahh, sorry to hear about the oxidization! That does not suit anyone! The oil capsules sound really good! I really must try a bit of oil for the lower half of my hair!
