I've often spoken about Lavera's lovely bath and bodycare lines, but I don't think their makeup gets nearly enough credit as it should. To remedy this, I've reviewed two favourites from their current cosmetics range.
Lavera Illuminating Eyeshadow Quattro in Indian Dream* (£14.50, link)
First up, I wanted to mention their Illuminating Eyeshadow Quattros which they bring out every season. Here you have four baked mineral eyeshadows, set into a sturdy plastic palette with a dome lid. As they're 'illuminating' they are shimmer heavy, so if you love pressed metallic minerals, you'll get on well with these! The shades in each quattro compliment each other nicely, and they can be used either wet or dry. I generally prefer to use these wet (i.e with a dampened eyeshadow brush) as the pigmentation comes through much more vivid and stronger as can see from the swatches below, though they do look good when used dry if you prefer a more subtle, daytime look. Indian Dream is a beautiful quad of earthy shades complete with a pink that looks amazing as an evening / night time blusher. There is some initial fallout when you apply these due to the amount of shimmer involved, but aside from that I can't fault the gorgeous shades and how long wearing they are.

Lavera Glossy Lips in Rosy Sorbet* (£9.90, link)
Lavera also do fantastic lip glosses which are well worth checking out if you're looking for a natural / cruelty free alternative to mainstream glosses. The Glossy Lips range has a great shade range and one of my favourites is Rosy Sorbet which is an easy to wear nude pink. The formula is completely non-sticky, feels moisturising on, has a subtle vanilla yoghurt type of scent (reminds me of Muller Corners!), and delivers plenty of shine to the lips.

Lavera are NaTrue certified and have no synthetic perfumes, colourants and preservatives in their products.
Have you tried any of Lavera's makeup range?
So happy I saw your post, thank you! I absolutely adore Lavera's makeup. In Luxembourg and Germany they tend to be cheaper, so needless to say that I take advantage of it ;) I have two quattro palettes from previous collections, and I'll pick this one as soon as I use up some of my stash :) xx
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading Liz! They are indeed cheaper in Germany so I often ask my mum (who lives over there) to send me some goodies over ;) xx
DeleteSuch a great post! I'm in love with all four shades! Totally my kinds of shades for a quick pretty eye!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharlynn! It's a gorgeous palette x
DeleteI haven't tried any of their make up yet! I've been eyeing their eyeshadow base and cream highlighters every time I go to Müller but never take the plunge haha
