Tried & Tested: Odylique Silk Touch Cleanser & Organic Surge Super Fresh Body Wash review

A picture of Odylique Silk Touch Cleanser and Organic Surge Super Fresh Body Wash
Here are two new products that have been gracing my bathroom shelves recently - both are very summer friendly and ideal for this current heatwave we're having!

Odylique Silk Touch Cleanser* (95g, £18, link)
If you're finding that your skin is becoming dehydrated thanks to the scorching sun zapping moisture out of everything, then switching to a more cream/oil based cleanser can definitely help.  Odylique's Silk Touch Cleanser has a great Cold-Pressed Sunflower Oil and Castor Bean Oil base which thoroughly rehydrates the skin, leaving it cleansed (but without any tight dryness) and silky smooth to the touch.  The gentle formula transforms into a light 'milk' once you add a little water to it, and I've found that is also removes non-waterproof makeup very well.  If you only wear a little makeup or are a fan of minerals, then this would be perfect to use as a double cleanse in the evenings.

Organic Surge Super Fresh Body Wash* (250ml, £5.99, link)
This is a 99% natural, SLS free body wash that has the most uplifting and refreshing scent, I'm addicted to it!  The formula features an exquisite blend of May Chang, Bergamot and Mandarin Orange Essential Oils to really wake you up first thing in the morning and keeps you smelling fresh throughout the day.  I also love using it after a long, hot, sticky day to feel all clean and revitalised again - it's a fantastic budget friendly buy.

Have you got any new products in your bathroom?

  7. I bought the Odylique Silk Touch Cleanser, I love the formulation but I'm not keen on the scent, it's the ylang ylang which I dislike.
