Over the last few months, I've been delving into this sample set from Pai and picking out a product to trial every so often (I try not to switch up my skincare routine too much these days, but curiosity usually gets the better of me!). I've finally finished up the set and thought I'd share my thoughts on it.
For those new to Pai, they are an organic and natural skincare brand based in the UK and offer a dedicated range of products that work for all skin types and are especially great for people who have sensitive skin. The Pai Sample Set consists of six skincare products to try out, all conveniently packaged in mini plastic jars and individually labelled so you know what's what. It also came with an organic muslin cloth which was soft and non-scratchy.
I started exploring this sample set back in December and immediately used the Macadamia & Rose Dry Skin Cream and Avocado & Jojoba Hydrating Day Cream to try and combat the cold weather. Unfortunately, both of these were much too rich for my combination skin, even when it was at its most dehydrated in the dead of winter. Dry skin will of course drink these two up though!
Moving on, I next tested out the Chamomile & Rosehip Sensitive Skin Cream when my skin was having a difficult stage and I loved this. It soothed away any redness and irritation, helping to calm everything down beautifully. With Pai moisturisers, I found them much thicker in composition than
regular daily face creams, so a little does go a long way with them (I got about 4-5 days worth out of each pot). Alongside this, I used the Camelia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser which definitely lived up to its name and is one of the most gentle cleansers I've ever used. It left my skin soft, clean and was just a pleasure to use.
Recently, I've used up the last moisturiser in this set which was the Geranium & Thistle Combination Skin Cream. I thought this was OK but didn't notice any huge differences (though it's worth bearing in mind that each of these samples are only 4-5ml each). I was however hugely impressed by the Kuki & Jojoba Bead Skin Brightening Exfoliator and loved its noticeable brightening effects.
The Pai Sample Set is currently sold out on their website but you can pick up samples from Naturisimo for only £1 each!

I think this is a great sample kit to get to know products before buying. Even though they're only small I think you can still tell whether you're going to like a product or not! The exfoliator sounds lovely xx
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! I was surprised when the moisturisers lasted as long as they did! xx

DeletePai is so far my favourite of all natural skincare, similar to the way I love Caudalie for almost-natural skincare ;-) You need to try the cleanser! It's SO fantastic.
