Review: Love Me Beauty Box - March 2014

Friday, 14 March 2014

This month's Love Me Beauty Box has arrived and it's a good 'un!  I chose Menu 1 this time around, so let's take a closer look at the products included.
Murad Sheer Lustre Day Moisturiser with SPF 15
(7.5ml sample size.  Full size is 50ml for £64)
I haven't used much skincare from Murad before, but I absolutely love their Hybrids Skin Perfecting Primer so I'm looking forward to trying this out.  As the full size retails for around £64, I'm not sure whether I'd ever splurge that much, but let's see if it's worth it.

BlanX White Shock Toothpaste
(15ml sample size.  Full size is 50ml for £7.50)
I'm always on the hunt for a better whitening toothpaste and I like the sound of this one because it's peroxide-free.  Great size to pop into your weekend/travel bag too.

Nip + Fab CC Eye Fix in Light
(Full size, £6)
This is a 2 in 1 eye cream and concealer which brightens, lifts and protects the eye area.  I'm a total concealer junkie (look out for my 'Concealer Stash' post coming up soon!) and love the idea of a more protective undereye one.

Deep Steep Moisture Stick in Lavender Chamomile
(Full size, £3.60)
Whenever I think of Deep Steep, I immediately think of Sarah from Sugarpuffish who is a big fan of this natural brand.  I have about a million things on my wishlist that I want to try from them and this Moisture Stick was one of them.  It's a multi-purpose product for dry, chapped skin and can be used on sunburn as well.

Quintessentially English Bath Salts in English Rose
(50g sample size.  Full size is 100g for £4.25)
I recently saw Sandra from Beauty Balm mention this company so I can't wait to indulge in a long hot bath with these.  They're made from dead sea salts and pure essential oils, plus I love anything rose so I know I'm going to get on well with these when I fancy a pamper.

The Vintage Cosmetic Company False Lashes in Gracie
(Full size, £6)
I don't wear false lashes that often, but when I do, I nearly always choose designs like this.  These look very pretty and fluttery without being too OTT.  Looking forward to putting them on when I next have a girly night out!

Summary:
I'm very happy with the box that I chose this month.  As always, I think Love Me Beauty did a great job of providing a good mix of different products and I now have lots of new things to play with this weekend :)

Love Me Beauty box* is available to purchase for £10 + P&P via their website.

  8. The Deep Steep Moisture Stick, I'm in love with it as a hand cream! Think I might even like it more than my beloved L'Occitane hand cream.

  11. Some interesting products in here, especially the Nip + Fab CC Eye Fix and Deep Steep Moisture Stick. The lashes do look very girly and not OTT, great for a night out :) Hope you like the Murad moisturiser - but wow, their products certainly are pricey! I tried a 5ml sample of one of their eye creams and while I did enjoy it, the retail price for the full 15ml is craaazy.
