I've had a busy weekend, so to prep for it, I did my nails bright and early last Friday morning. As I was going to a new product launch event, a friend's birthday and Crufts, I wanted something eye catching, but not too 'in your face'.
When I saw the design of these Ted Baker That's A Wrap Nail Polish Strips in Black Floral, I knew that they would be perfect. Now then, I did get my knickers in a twist for a second or so, because these are nail wraps and I'm not the most adept at putting them on, but these were thankfully relatively easy to apply. You get 14 pieces in a pack, so you can afford to work out trial and error with 4 of them. The pieces are in two lots of various nail sizes, and you can trim them and file them down at the tips to get a perfect fit but I have to admit, this takes some practice and I could have done a much better job with a second pair. To apply, you simply peel back each strip, place the curved end towards your cuticle and gently press down, smoothing it out as you do so to avoid any air bubbles.
The strips are like thin vinyl stickers so they have glossy finish to them, but I topped them off with a coat of Seche Vite for some extra shine. After wearing them for 3 days now, I've noticed that some of the edges have started to come away so they're great for a special night out or weekend away, but for the price, I thought they would lasted longer. I can't fault the gorgeous design though!
Ted Baker That's A Wrap Nail Polish Strips* retail for £7.50 per pack and are currently in the 3 for 2 offer at Boots stores nationwide and online.
