February Empties / Products I've Used Up

Friday, 28 February 2014

It's Empties time once again!  Here are the products that I've managed to finish off this month, my thoughts on them, and whether I'll be repurchasing or not.

Laidbare Clean As A Whistle Body Wash* (review)
Lovely SLS free shower gel which smells amazing - it's like a strong, rich sweet floral, just divine!  Repurchase?  Yes.

Conscious Skincare Grapefruit, Lemon and Cedar Body Butter*
I featured this in my Cold Weather Proofing Beauty Routine post a few months ago and I'm so sad to see it used up.  This is a seriously good body butter that's wonderfully thick and incredibly moisturising.  Repurchase?  Will do once I've used up some other body lotions.

Jason Brightening Apricot Facial Scrub* (review)
As you can see, I've had this in my bathroom for a very long time!  Not sure why I didn't reach for it more often, but I do like it a lot.  It's gentle, does a great job and doesn't make my skin feel dry afterwards.  Repurchase?  Maybe in the future.

Badger Foot Balm
This was from my Green Christmas Beauty Swap and I enjoyed using it.  It's a thick pepperminty balm and is great for those days when your feet are feeling worn down, tired and in need of some TLC.  Repurchase?  Yes.
Balance Me Congested Skin Serum* (review)
I loved using this very gentle, spot fighting serum and it lasted absolutely ages.  Great for applying directly to a new blemish and on 'congested' areas like t-zones and chins to prevent breakouts.  Repurchase?  Yes.

Forest People Eye & Lip Serum*
This serum also seemed to last forever and I mostly used it as a nightly eye treatment.  It did the job with keeping everything hydrated, but I didn't see any other benefits.  Repurchase?  Probably not.

Pai Jasmine & May Chang Relaxing Bath Oil and Rejuvenating Body Oil
Both of these were lovely pampering treats, though I did wish that they had a stronger scent.  The formulas were great though, especially the body oil.  Repurchase?  Not sure.

Pure by Phytocare Paw Paw Ointment
I featured this in my October Favourites and it's been a brilliant little winter skin saviour for me.  I've used it on literally everything from cuticles to eczema patches, it's just fantastic stuff.  Repurchase?  Yes.

  3. Your empties are always so interesting, I'd love to raid your skincare stash haha. I've been thinking about buying the Balance Me Congested Skin Serum - I love the S5 Purity one but it's just so expensive! xx

    1. I think the same when I read your skincare posts ;) I also love the S5 Purity Serum but agree that it's pricey! The Balance Me one works well and is great, but I definitely notice faster and better results with the S5 xx

  4. The Balance Me Congested Skin Serum sounds like something I need. I can't seem to get my hands on all the Balance Me products in Canada though as it seems the shipping is very limited off the websites I have found that ship Balance Me products internationally. Such a shame! xx
