Review: Love Me Beauty Box - December 2013 + 20% Discount Code

Saturday, 14 December 2013

Love Me Beauty's December box contains another great mix of full-sized make-up products and deluxe, high-end skincare samples.  As always, there were three different menus to choose from which you can view on their website, and I went for menu No. 1.

Lord & Berry Intensity Lipstick in Glazed Pink
(full size, £12)
Whilst I'm a fan of the quality and formulas of Lord & Berry's lipsticks, I am getting a strong sense of deja vu here!  I'm hoping that the New Year will bring some more brands to Love Me Beauty's arsenal because I love trying different make-up.  Anyway, I like the shade of this; it's a neutral/nude pink which would look great with a smokey eye.

Lord & Berry Kiss Proof Lip Liner in Romantica
(full size, £7.50)
Disregarding the deja vu again, these lip liners are truly fantastic.  I love the matte formula, gorgeous pigmentation and they Do Not Budge!  Romantica is a cute, bright medium pink - very girly and fun.

Headline Colours Nail Polish in Quicksand
(full size, £9)
I can't resist these beautiful griege shades, and despite owning a million of them already, I still get excited when I spot a new one I haven't tried yet!  Quicksand looks like a perfect light chocolate shade - I can't wait to get this on my nails.

S5 Vitality Mask
(15ml deluxe sample exclusive to Love Me Beauty.  Full size is 100ml, £42)
I'm a face mask junkie, so of course I chose the box with which has two face mask options in it ;)  S5 serums are incredible so I'm looking forward to a pampering session with this mask.  Suitable for all skin types and the formula is clinically proven to reduce imperfections by 60% and pore size by 20%.  Now I like the sound of that!

Rodial 5 Minute Facial
(10ml deluxe sample.  Full size is 50ml, £35)
Rodial are one of those brands I always hear people raving about so I was really happy to see a sample included in this month's box.  The 5 Minute Facial is an exfoliating and decongesting mask which sounds perfect for when you're prepping for christmas parties (or when you're recovering the day after).

Summary:
Overall, I'm a fan of this month's box again because I know I'm going to use everything in it and I'm happy to see that there are still no sachets or perfume samples (always a good thing IMO!).  As I mentioned above, I do hope Love Me Beauty will be offering more brands in the New Year as the Lord & Berry thing is getting very repetitive, but judging from the enclosed flyer they are promising exciting new things in 2014 so I can't wait to see what they're up to.

Love Me Beauty box* is available to purchase for £10 + P&P via their website.  First timers can take advantage of a whopping 20% discount when they use the blogger code LMBBB20 at the checkout - valid until 10/01/2014.
