Handbag Staple: Mendill Organic Towelettes / Wet Wipes

When it comes to wet wipes, I have two rules. 1. Use them sparingly and try to stick to using them just for the three Fs (Flights, Festivals and Fannies - thank you Caroline Hirons!) and 2. Spend a bit more and purchase ones which are as natural as possible. I usually stick to Organyc but when these samples from Mendill dropped through my letterbox, I was intrigued to give them a go.

Mendill's Organic Towelettes are wet wipes with a couple of big differences. Firstly, they're made of 100% Organic Cotton. Secondly, they're scented with just 100% certified Organic Essential Oils which are nice enough for the scent alone, but also feature natural anti-bacterial and antiseptic properties too. Thirdly, they are completely free from parabens, chemicals, preservatives and fragrances. Now those are some pretty big differences!

Each towelette comes individually wrapped, making them ultra convenient for popping into your handbag and weekend bag etc.

There are five aromas to choose from which all do different things:-

Calming Tangerine - Wonderfully sweet, fresh and citrusy, this oil is thought to promote happiness, and help with nervousness and anxiety. This one would be ideal for nervous flyers and those prone to panic attacks. Has antiseptic properties too.

Detoxifying Lemon - Great for detoxifying, and can be used as an antiseptic, disinfectant and features anti fungal properties. Good all rounder for holidays and festivals/camping trips!

Antiseptic Orange - Orange Oil has natural disinfectant and anti-inflammatory abilities, so this would be handy for things like cleaning and treating cuts and scratches. The scent also promotes joy and happiness so I'd recommend this one for people with young kids.

Healing Eucalyptus - Anti-microbial and anti-bacterial that also acts like a disinfectant. Eucalyptus is well known for the instant relief it gives from sinus infections, blocked noses, bronchitis and colds & flu. Definitely one to keep in your handbag at this time of the year!

Purifying Lavender - A natural antiseptic, antibacterial and detoxifier which encourages healing and cleaning, as well as being soothing and calming. Another very useful all rounder.
