Following on from my previous Apivita reviews, here's the final Part 2! If you missed Part 1, click here to enjoy a catch up read.
Apivita 3 in 1 Cleansing Milk* (250ml, £13, link)
This is a gentle, 3 in 1 product that cleanses, tones and removes make-up. It's 99% natural and uses Almond and Olive Oils to remove dirt and make-up, Chamomile to protect against irritation, Lavender to soothe, Propolis to offer mild antiseptic action and antioxidant protection, and Honey to moisturize. I use 1-2 pumps, massage onto dry skin and then remove it with a warm muslin cloth. It easily clears all of my face make-up (including heavy, liquid foundation) but it did struggle a little when it came to waterproof mascara (normal mascara was fine though). Aside from that, it's a rich, creamy cleanser where a small amount goes a long way, plus I don't feel the need to use a separate toner afterwards, so it's great value for money.
Apivita Wine Elixir Face Oil* (30ml, £39.50, link)
Whilst I generally don't use anti-aging products, I am more than happy to experiment in the quest to help prevent those first signs of aging, so I was intrigued to try the Wine Elixir Face Oil out (myself and anything to do wine usually get on very well!). Apivita's Wine Elixir range is all about preventing wrinkles (and helping to minimise the appearance of existing ones), reducing fine lines and restoring the skin. To do all this, they use their special Green Tea infusion instead of water in their products, as well as key ingredients such as Organic Grape, Olive and Almond Oils, Lupin and antioxidant packed Essential Oils. Although I can't comment on the wrinkles side of things, I can say that this Wine Elixir was a pleasure to use and it would be great for pampering facials during the winter months because it eradicates any dryness in minutes and plumps up the skin. Just what I need in this cold weather!
Apivita Express Gold with Prickly Pear Face Masks* (2 x 8ml sachets, £5, link)
I've used Apivita's famed Express Beauty Face Masks in the past and have always had great results from them (particularly love the Carrot and Cucumber ones!). The Express Gold Face Masks are even more of a treat and make you feel like you've just had an expensive facial for a mere fraction of the price. The Prickly Pear mask is both moisturizing and revitalising so it's ideal for tired, dull, winter skin that's lost it's glow. I found it incredibly rich and hydrating, and was surprised by how baby soft my skin was when I washed it off after just 10 minutes. It smells gorgeous too. These face masks would make brilliant stocking fillers!
All Apivita products are free from parabens, propylene glycol,
silicones, artificial colours and scents. They feature natural
compositions from 85% to 100% and use recycled materials in their
packaging. Apivita are currently available exclusively in the UK at Marks and Spencer, both in the beauty halls instores and online.
