Here are five samples that I've used up recently, featuring a mix of haircare, skincare and bodycare. I plucked them out of my travel bag at the weekend when I was swapping around some products and gave myself a little pat on the back for finally using some more samples up! (I'm weird, I know... lol) Anyway! Onto the mini reviews.
I've used up a handful of these travel sized tubes now (as well as a full sized bottle some time last year), so I can definitely say that I'm a fan of this shampoo. It's gentle, 70% organic, 100% natural and sulphates free. Doesn't lather very much but once you get the hang of using it, you'll be rewarded with shiny, clean hair. It's formulated to be balancing and conditioning, so technically you don't need to use a separate conditioner with it, but if you have dry ends and lengths like I do, you'll benefit from using one in addition. An all round, proper, pure natural shampoo to try out if you have a sensitive or itchy scalp.
(2) Pomegranate Organics Active Night Plus
A natural and organic night treatment face oil which helps to renew and repair the skin as you sleep. Comes in a handy rollerball for easy application and is 100% natural and 90% organic. Contains a super blend of Rosehip, Starflower, Kukuki and Pomegranate Oils and boy, does this smell incredible! I really enjoyed using this and it made my skin look fresh and feel soft in the morning.
(3) Korres Fig Body Butter
Just a little sample sachet, but I loved it nonetheless. Formulated with nourishing Shea Butter, this is not too thick but it does an excellent job of hydrating dry skin and soaks in quickly. I liked the clean, fresh but subtle scent it has as well.
(4) Weleda Lavender Creamy Body Wash
I'm a huge fan of Weleda's Creamy Body Washes and particularly adore the Pomegranate flavour, so I knew I was going to love this and I did. The Lavender scent is fresh and clean (not powdery in the slightest), and the moisturising formula is perfect for anyone with dry skin.
(5) Wen Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner
I completely forgot I had this, and found it hidden away behind my bathroom cabinet. I thought it was OK, and it made my hair feel soft, but I didn't notice anything different about it from my usual conditioners. Don't really understand why it's marketed as a 'cleansing' conditioner?!
Have you tried any of these?

You know I love EC shampoo, I find you get a good lather if you do a 2nd wash with it. I do still use conditioner to help with tangles :)
ReplyDeleteI do the same, second washes are often a wash with sulphate free shampoos :)
DeleteThe pomegranate face oil sounds divine, love the sound of all the ingredients! Great post, I always love seeing oyur mini reviews :) x
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous, I'd buy it alone for the scent to be honest! Thanks Tania :) x
DeleteI love the Weleda body washes, my absolute favourite, lovely to hear about the other products too :) Xx
ReplyDeleteThey are the best :) xx
DeleteI wasn't a fan of the Wen, felt like it didn't really clean my hair or condition it enough. Smelt good though!
ReplyDeleteYeah I liked the scent more than anything else as well!
DeleteI have this Weleda body wash in full-size and I love it. I'm a sucker for anything with Lavender. Now the pomegranate rollerball looks very appealing. I'll have a look at it. Nice products :-)

DeleteThe Wen Cleansing Conditioner baffles me. Watched an hour of it on QVC and decided it wouldn't work for me yet I still feel the need to try it. lol

It's weird because I expected it to do so much more but was just disappointing instead. I'd recommend trying to find a sample first before splurging on it xx
Deletewith wen you sort of have to find the right cleansing condition for me it is tea tree and fig. i only use wen on my hair and i have noticed a big difference in my hair, a very positive one, but i also dont own any heat tools
ReplyDeleteThanks Jessica, it sounds like the one I tried just wasn't the right type for me then. Good to hear they do work when you get the correct one! x
DeleteI really like the essential care shampoo too. I think Korres have some amazing products too.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely isn't it? I agree, I love Korres :)
Deleteeverything sounds amazing, but the shampoo, is something I would be glad to try, still trying to find the right parabean, sulfate free shamp
ReplyDeleteIt's really good, can't recommend it enough :)
