Summer / Holiday Staple: Elemental Herbology Watermelon & Cucumber Body Moisturiser review

Elemental Herbology Watermelon & Cucumber Body Moisturiser* (240ml, £21, link)

I'm an avid fan of body lotions as they help to keep my dry skin happy, so I use them religiously throughout the year.  I have a pretty large stash of them, but always switch to using ones which have a light texture during the summer months.  I was recently introduced to this body moisturiser by Elemental Herbology which ticks all the right boxes.

So onto those boxes:-

1. It's packaged with a pump dispenser. TICK.
Having dry skin means that I apply body lotion practically everyday, and with so many other things that need to be done, anything that saves me time is going to be appreciated.  A body lotion which has a handy pump dispenser is always, always welcomed with open arms in my bathroom.

2. It's light and non-greasy.  TICK.
This absorbs into the skin straight away and is completely non-greasy/oily.  Once applied, your skin just feels smooth like a baby's bottom.

3. It has a pleasant scent.  TICK.
I rarely wear perfume so like to pick body lotions which smell nice.  This one has a simple, fresh, clean scent to it which I love.

4. Is packed full of natural ingredients.  TICK.
I always try to choose body lotions that contain mostly natural ingredients and this contains all manner of good things such as Organic Aloe Vera, Organic Cucumber Juice Extract, Organic Shea Butter, Kakadu Plum Extract, Argan and Macadamia Oils to name but a few.

It also ticks some bonus boxes!

5. Can be used as an effective cooling after sun treatment.  TICK.
The combination of active natural ingredients means that this has a delightful cooling effect on your skin when you apply it, so it would be perfect to use as an after sun (and contains skin repairing ingredients too so it'll help to heal any damaged skin as well).

6. Helps to prolong your tan.  TICK.
Using a body moisturiser keeps your skin hydrated meaning that it's less likely to peel or flake because it won't be suffering from any dryness.  If you're not peeling everywhere, then your tan will stay with you much longer.

Have you tried this?
