Organic Surge are fast becoming a favourite brand of mine. I love their simple beauty products that do the job without the need for any unnecessary ingredients like SLS or parabens. Plus nearly everything in their extensive range is under a tenner, with regular special offers on as well. What's not to love?! Up for review today are two of their products; a facial exfoliator and a quick fix hair mask.
Organic Surge Skin Perfecting Face Polish* (75ml, £6.49, link)
98.8% natural ingredients & 10% organic certified by Ecocert, vegan friendly
Now I know that some people are rather anti facial exfoliators with scrubby bits in, largely due to the advice of skincare guru Caroline Hirons, BUT as the lady herself says, "if something works for you, then keep using it". I've never had any problems with them myself, so I was happy to receive this recently to try out.
This Skin Perfecting Face Polish uses very finely ground olive stone to gently remove any dirt, impurities and dead skin cells from your face. It contains Rosemary and Lemon Essential Oils, plus Chamomile and Ginkgo Biboba to help the skin to renew itself, whilst at the same time purifying, hydrating and soothing it. I've been using this just once a week at the moment, and can definitely vouch for those claims. My skin is left feeling soft and clean, but it's never tight or uncomfortable afterwards. The exfoliation is gentle so it doesn't feel rough in the slightest, and after a month of usage, I can safely say I haven't had any breakout issues with it. It's suitable for all skin types and has been sensitive skin tested.
Organic Surge 2 Minute Moisture Mask* (150ml, £6.99, link)
Free from parabens, SLS, silicones, synthetic fragrances & colourants, vegan friendly
You all know how much I love a good hair mask, so when this arrived, I was running straight away to the bathroom to give it a whirl. My hair is naturally frizzy and dry so I always reach for hydrating hair masks to keep it in check!
One that works in just two minutes sounded too good to be true, but alas, it did actually work very well! The 2 Minute Moisture Mask has that key wonder ingredient, Coconut Oil to naturally nourish the hair, and Sweet Orange and Black Pepper Essential Oils to stimulate the scalp and gets rid of any toxin build up. In addition to these, it has various plant extracts to improve shine and further reduce any product build up which is something I always look for in hair treatments. I was very happy with the results of this hair mask; I got extra shine, a lot less frizz (not zero frizz but significantly less), and super soft swish-worthy locks that smelt as good as they felt! So a thumbs up to both of these products!

It's amazing for a quick fix! x
DeleteI'd love to try the face polish! A lot of face exfoliants I've tried are too abrasive... but I do still like to use physical exfoliants because they leave my face so smooth!
