Thursday, 29 August 2013

 HealGel Intensive* (30ml, £37.50, link)

I'm a sucker for cool packaging, so when this arrived through my letterbox a little while ago I couldn't wait to try it out.  If your skin is ever troublesome and needs rescuing from a range of problems, then this could be a holy grail product for you.

Review: NEOM Organic Room Mist in Refresh (Sicilian Lemon & Fresh Basil)

Wednesday, 28 August 2013

NEOM Organic Room Mist in Refresh* (100ml, £16, link)

I've never used room sprays in the past, but since moving into a house with a dog, I've come to appreciate the benefits of having one handy to use before guests come around.  My room spray of choice?  Well, it had to be something from NEOM of course.

Review & Swatches: Urban Decay Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette + Giveaway!

Sunday, 25 August 2013

Urban Decay Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette (£37, link)

They say good things come to those who wait, and it certainly did in my case.  I lusted after the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette ever since I saw it launched, but convinced myself that it was just too much of a splurge (considering how many neutral eyeshadows I already have in my possession I was probably right).  Luckily for me, a birthday and my mother's purse intervened, and the rest, as they say, is history.  There's no doubt in my mind that you've already read a million and one reviews of this amazing palette, but this one has a cheeky little giveaway at the end!

The Skincare Tag!

Sunday, 18 August 2013

I was tagged a while back by the lovely Joanna from Mademoiselle Lala to do this skincare tag.  I always enjoy reading about other bloggers skincare routines and habits, so I knew I had to do it myself.

Summer Staples: Laidbare Smooth As A Peach Cellulite Buster & Scrub A Dub Dub Exfoliator

Friday, 16 August 2013

Laidbare have recently brought out a couple of new products, and I've had these two on the go in my bathroom ever since they arrived on my doorstep.  One's a firming body moisturiser for those 'wobbly bits' and the other is an exfoliator.  Together they are two fantastic summer beauty staples.

Review: Beauteco Box - August 2013

Monday, 12 August 2013

 Beauteco Box* (£10 + P&P, link)

August's Beauteco box is certainly celebrating summer with its bright blue & yellow eco-friendly packaging this month.  And the contents are non too shabby either!  As always, there were three enticing menus to choose from, and I picked lucky number Box 3.

Samples Review & Swatches: Vapour Organic Beauty - Illusionist Concealer in 030 & Siren Lipstick in Chere

Friday, 9 August 2013

You may have seen me mention a fantastic online shopping site called Naturisimo previously on this blog.  Along with a whole host of wonderful, natural beauty goodies from a vast array of brands, they also offer customers the option of adding up to 5 product samples with every order made.  Some of these are free, others you pay for.  With my last order, I picked up two samples from a make-up brand called Vapour Organic Beauty who I'd heard a lot of good things about.

Rave Review: Real Techniques Blush Brush

Tuesday, 6 August 2013

Real Techniques Blush Brush (£9.99, link)

I never thought I'd ever be writing a post about how much I love a blusher brush.  Funny how things turn out isn't it?!  I'm a big blush fan but I'd never quite found a brush to apply it with that I truly adored, until now.

July Beauty Favourites

Monday, 5 August 2013

I'm a little late with posting these favourites, but hopefully it's not too late!  I've discovered quite a few amazing products recently, some of which may be even be HG quality.  Ooooo....

Summer Staple: Purepotions Rescue Salves Set - Review

 Purepotions Rescue Salves Set* (4 x 15mls, £16.99, link)

Whilst I love Summer in all of its glory, it does have a habit of throwing up a few problems such as having to deal with pesky insect bites, sunburn, and sore feet from walking in sandals all day.  But before you rush off to your local chemist, why not turn straight to Mother Nature instead?  Or more specifically, Purepotions and their wonderful Rescue Salves Set.
