I've been a long time fan of both the Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment and their Deep Repair Masque (raved about here), but haven't ventured into trying any other products from them until this hairspray arrived in the post. Technically this is called a 'Control Fast-Drying Working Spray', but between me and you, we'll just call it hairspray.
1. How strong or flexible the hold is.
2. How it feels in the hair i.e crispy vs non-crispy, residue-y vs non-residue-y etc.
Based on this criteria, Macadamia's hairspray proves itself to be very good indeed. It's offers a fully flexible hold where and when you need it, but at the same time it easily brushes out at the end of the day. You can also use it to give a more working hold to hairstyles by spritzing on a little after curling your hair and gently running your fingers through it. I wouldn't use this for trying to secure a topknot or anything like that though, because the power of the hold just wouldn't be strong enough, but for everything else it seems to work very well.
What I like the most about this hairspray is that it feels weightless in the hair. There's no sticky residue, no crispyness, and no awful scent either (it smells pretty good actually!). It also lives up to its namesake for being fast-drying, and adds plenty of extra shine to the hair which is always welcome!
If you find that most cheaper hairsprays make your hair look like its glued to your head and smell of paint stripper, then you may want to consider splashing out on this instead. Oh, and the bottle is enormous, so it'll last a long, long, long time. This gets a thumbs up from me!
Do you have a favourite hairspray?

I'd recommend it! xx
DeleteThis sounds amazing. I love the Macadamial Oil brand and have currently been using a few of their other products! I've actually been using the Marc Anthony Moroccan Oil hairspray and find that one quite lovely as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing <3
They are lovely! I'll have to check out that one :)
DeleteOooh! Sounds like a great hairspray! It kind of sounds like the the Moroccanoil Hairspray which I like but is kind of expensive.
ReplyDeleteYes Tracey! I've recommended this to one of my friends who was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Moroccan Oil one, and she loves this now!
DeleteI've been loving this! It's not cheap but hairspray lasts me such a long time so it doesn't work out too bsd.
