NOTD: Ciate - Cookies & Cream

Wednesday, 24 April 2013

Ciate's Cookies & Cream is one damn good neutral shade to have in your collection.  This soft nude looks fairly ordinary and plain in some lights, but in others, you can detect more of that hint of grey/ touch of taupey goodness in it.  It's probably in my top three most work friendly nail polishes of all time charts, and the formula is also amazing; it applies smoothly in two coats with zero fuss.

What are you wearing on your nails today?

  1. The colour looks so good and perfect for an office! I'm wearing something similar - Barry M's lychee.

  4. I haven't tried many Ciate polishes but this one looks really gorgeous. I often find nude polishes too dark, this one looks lovely and pale without being at all pink (light pinks look terrible on me :( ) xx

    1. I think this one would suit you perfectly as it's got more of a grey/taupe undertone in it than the usual pink that comes with so many other neutrals xx

  6. Very polished, classy and ladylike shade! It's always good to have office-appropriate shades to fall back on that you actually love, especially since glitter isn't really the best option for meetings with your boss :p

  7. This looks so pretty! I thought you would need several coats to make it opaque but two is good going :)

  8. Wow love that colour! It looks a bit like Utopia by Models Own. I'm currently wearing Nice is Nice by Essie which is a beautiful almost-white lavender.
