New Love: Korres Lip Butter in Jasmine

Korres Lip Butter in Jasmine (6g, £6 each, link

It was really only a matter of time before Jasmine joined my little Korres Lip Butter collection.  I cheekily emailed my mum this guest post that Jayne did for me with a huge arrow pointing at it (subtle eh?), and hey presto, on xmas day I unwrapped this pale pink lidded pot of lip butter goodness!

Jasmine is a lovely simple lip butter that's moisturising and one that adds a healthy sheen to the lips.  As I have relatively pigmented lips already, this doesn't show up with any colour on me, but if you're lips aren't, you'll be treated to a delicate wash of nude.  But the best part about Jasmine?  When I opened it I expected something akin to a floral scent (all of the other Korres Lip Butters I have kinda smell like their namesakes), but instead, I was greeted with the most delicious sugary sweet honey/toffee flavour.  No wonder I can't stop applying it!

Do you love Korres Lip Butters as much as I do?

  6. Yes, these are so good. I have Wild Rose ( which I reviewed here if you fancy a look http://ayelined.blogspot.co.uk/2012/11/korres-lip-butter-in-wild-rose.html ). I think I'll probably go for Jasmine the next time, the highly pigmented ones can get a bit messy

  16. I've been eyeing up these lip butters for a while now, but I'm trying to avoid buying any until I finish the ones I already have :')
I might have to make an exception for this one though if it tastes/smells like toffee, sounds delicious!

  17. I said that it has a toffee like scent too! I didn't really understand why that was (I'm pretty sure Jasmine smells nothing like toffee) but I like it nonetheless :D xx

    1. It's strange isn't it?! Jasmine is a very strong floral scent, so I don't think many would have liked it on their lips xx

  18. Oooh I haven't sniffed this one because I expected it to be florally, but I'll be testing it out! I have the Mango lip butter but the colour really didn't suit me, smells amazing though xx

    1. Shame the Mango doesn't suit you, my sister has that one and I love the scent of it xx

  19. I really want to try one of their lip butters, I am always reading good things about them. I know not to go for the Jasmine one though, I love the scent of Jasmine (so probably would have gone for it!) but do not like those Toffee/Honey/Vanilla kinda scents. xx

    1. The others like Wild Rose and Quince might be more suitable for you then as they're more floral :) xx

  20. I have recently started using Korres lip butter after reading your enthusiastic posts about them Evelyn and I think they are amazing. I suffer really badly from chapped lips in the winter but thanks to Korres, these are now a thing of the past. The best thing for me is that they don't have that awful chemically taste that many lip products have - the Wild Rose is my favourite.

    1. So happy to hear you love them as much as I do Annie! They are fantastic for dry lips and I love using them in winter. Wild Rose is gorgeous and I completely agree about loving the fact that they're natural :)

  21. I really want to try this. I've heard such good things about it! Sometimes I do wonder if paying that little bit extra for a lip balm will work wonders for my lips!

  26. I too just got my first experience of this lip butter and a few more lip products from them, unfortunately for me, I don't really like the scent of the product. Reminds me of caramel which I dislike, however it is very moisturizing and I do like that and how natural the nude wash of shade looks. I really wish it smelt like jasmine!
