NYE NOTD: Ciate Cabaret & Magic Carpet

NYE is finally here!  I decided to go for a purple glitter look on my nails this year to celebrate the end of 2012.  I applied two coats of Ciate's Cabaret (a gorgeous dark purple creme, formula is a little thin though as you might be able to tell from the below pic.  If I was wearing this on its own, I'd definitely slap on an extra coat!) as the base and then layered it with a top coat of Ciate's Magic Carpet.  At first I was really disappointed with Magic Carpet because it looked so densely packed full of glitter in the bottle and then it just applied as a thin sparse glitter suspended in clear varnish.  However, with Cabaret as a base I think it works well!
