M&S Limited Collection Lip Gloss in Fondant (£5, link)
As I posted my Drugstore Beauty Tag earlier today, I thought I would do a review of one of my favourite recent discoveries on the highstreet. But you'll need to look on the other side of the highstreet for this one, because you won't find it in Boots or Superdrug.
Marks & Spencer seem to have always been a constant on the highstreet. They may have had some financial troubles in the past, but since opening up some of their new Beauty Halls, they have been popping up on the beauty blogger's radar. Whilst their beauty halls stock luxe and niche brands such as NUXE, Murad, Purminerals and Leighton Denny to name a few, it's their purse friendly, own brand collections which have been catching my eye.
M&S Limited Collection Lip Gloss has been getting some rave reviews, so when I saw one in the shade Fondant, appear in Alice's blog sale a while ago, I had to snap it up.
The lip gloss comes packaged in a clear chunky plastic tube with a doe foot applicator. The formula has no noticeable scent or flavour, is hypoallergenic, paraben free, and features moisturising ingredients as well as Vitamin E. The range is also BUAV approved (as is the whole M&S Limited Collection line).
Fondant is a medium pink with a hint of shimmer and delivers some serious shine! These glosses are ultra glossy! They have some pigmentation, but are relatively sheer, or just what you'd normally expect from a standard lip gloss. Best two things other than all of the above? They're non-sticky and only a fiver! Well worth checking out IMO.
Have you tried this or anything else from M&S' Limited Collection range?
I've never tried anything from the M&S make up range but these look so pretty! I usually stay away from lip gloss because of the stickiness, so I might have to check these out! xx

I'm not a fan of lip glosses that are sticky either. These are definitely non-sticky! x

I haven't tried anything yet, but I did have a good look the last time I was in. That looks like a really nice shade, I'm liking the fact that it isn't sticky too :) x
ReplyDeleteMe too, I'm not a fan of sticky glosses at all :) x
DeleteThese look great! I never wear lipgloss as I hate that 'hair-stuck-to-lips' look you get with sticky glosses... will definitely be giving them a try! :-)
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great week hun!

ReplyDeleteThey'll worth looking into - lippies and nail polishes are also great and around the fiver price mark :)
DeleteI still need to visit an M&S beauty hall, I've been wanting to for literally months now, it just keeps slipping down my list of things to do!

DeleteI've never thought of checking out M&S's make-up line. I like the shade though as it's super glossy but not really opaque. I'm only recently re-discovering my love of lip gloss so I might pick one of these up to see how it compares to my Body Shop one which I use all the time x
