Amarya Organic / Natural Beauty Box - November 2012

Amarya box (£10 + P&P per month, link)

My Amarya box has finally arrived!  I contacted them yesterday as my box didn't arrive with everyone else's last week, and a replacement came bright and early this morning.  Fantastic customer service from Amarya as always!  Although I'd already seen what was in this month's box from reading Sandra and Kat's posts, I was still pretty excited to open it up as two of my favourite natural brands are included this month.

In my box I received:-
  • Cowshed Cow Slip Soothing Hand Cream (50ml) - A softening hand cream that restores suppleness and moisture, with essential oils of sweet orange and peppermint.  This smells really nice and is a great size to throw in your handbag.  I get very dry hands like most people at this time of the year so I get through lots of hand cream!
  • Essential Care Creamy Coconut Cleanser (30ml) - Gentle cream cleanser and make-up remover which is suitable for even the most sensitive skin.  I've used this before when I received it in their Holiday Essentials Pack over the summer and remember liking it a lot, so I'm happy to have another one to put in my travel bag.
  • Essential Care Organic Rose Moisturiser (2 x 1.5ml sachets) - Lightweight regenerating antioxidant day care for all skin types, can also be used as an eye cream.  I've used this before and really liked it too!   In fact, I don't think there's a product I've tried from Essential Care which I haven't liked yet.
  • Weleda Skin Food (1.5ml sachet) - A-list favourite that is specially formulated to moisturise dry and rough skin.  I have the full size of this and really rate it - featured recently in my Winter Skin Saviours post.
  • Weleda Lavender Creamy Body Wash (20ml) - Soothe and harmonise your skin with this calming shower cream.  I'm a big fan of Weleda's Creamy Body Washes and especially love their Pomegranate one.  Looking forward to trying out the Lavender.
  • Weleda Citrus Hydrating Body Lotion (4ml sachet) - Lightweight yet extremely moisturising body lotion.  Again, I really love Weleda's body lotions too and have tried this one in the past - has a lovely uplifting citrus scent to it.
Although I've already tried out many of the products in this month's box, I think it serves as an excellent introduction to some of the best natural brands on the market.  You really can't go wrong with anything by Weleda or Essential Care!

Did you receive an Amarya box this month?
What did you think?

  1. At least the products you have tried you remember liking! The coconut cleanser and Skin Food sound lovely :) I've not tried any of these brands but this box sounds like the ideal way to sample natural brands you otherwise wouldn't be exposed to!

  4. This box looks brilliant, especially compared to last month's Balance Me one. I'm a massive Weleda fan (if you haven't already then I would definitely recommend trying their almond cleanser) but I haven't tried any of their Body Wahses, they sound lovely xx
