I think this is the first 5 Mini Reviews post I've done where I've wanted to buy full sizes of all of the samples that I've tried - my wishlist for Santa is going to be enormous this year!
(1) REN Mayblosson Balancing Cleansing Gel
I featured this in my August Favourites and ended up buying a couple more of the sample sized tubes on eBay afterwards. It's a simple, yet effective gel cleanser for combination skintypes and really does help to balance the excess oilyness that I get in my t-zone area. One to try out if you have the same problem.
(2) Clarins Skin Illusion Natural Radiance Foundation
Received this in a magazine and I'm so happy that I tried it out - it's really good! The shade 'Wheat' was a perfect match for my light olive complexion, though I've seen a few bloggers which much fairer skin say that it matched them well too. I always worry that liquid foundations will be too heavy or greasy on my skin, but this was the exact opposite - it didn't feel like I was wearing anything which is exactly what I look for in a foundation. It blended beautifully and gave fantastic coverage, yet never looked cakey or too fake. Very tempted to pick up a bottle of this!
(3) Dr Bronners Unscented Baby Mild Pure Castille Soap
I recently featured this in my How I Clean My Make-Up Brushes post and you can see from the photos how well this cleans brushes! I also love the fact that it's natural and multi-purpose.
(4) NEOM Organic Hand Cream in Complete Bliss Moroccan Blush Rose
This is one of those magazine freebies that I really wish I'd bought back ups of. I'm a big fan of rose scented hand creams in general, but this one from NEOM really took the classic feminine scent of roses and mixed it up with a modern, black pepper spiciness. Sadly the full size 75ml tube retails for a painful £20 :(
(5) balance Me Cleanse And Smooth Face Balm
Cleanse & Smooth is probably my favourite product that I've tried from balanceMe (and I've tried a lot!). It's a thick, oil based cleanser which is best used in conjunction with a muslin cloth and it removes every single trace of make-up (including stubborn waterproof eye make-up) so easily without any need to scrub. It's also 100% natural which is always a winner in my book!
Have you tried any of these?
ooh I love most of these! I too wish I'd stocked up on the NEOM hand cream - probably my most favourite hand cream..ever! I loved the Clarins foundation sample, Dr Bronner and the Balance Me Face Balm. Great choices x
