Joliebox - October 2012: The Pure and Natural Box

 Joliebox (£10 per month + P&P, link)

I was so excited to open this month's Pure and Natural themed Joliebox - I'm pleased with the contents and really like it when beauty boxes branch out to do a themed box like this.

This month's box sees Fleur from Fleur De Force on the cover of Joliemag and comes with an offer flyer for the organic tea company Lov Organic.

Here's what I received in my box:-
  • balance Me Balancing Face Moisturiser (10ml sample) - I had a gut feeling that a balance Me product would show up in this natural themed box and lo and behold..! I've accumulated 5 or 6 of these samples now and will eventually get around to using at least one soon.  I would have much preferred the full size £20 Revolution Beauty Balm* instead Joliebox! Grrr...
  • Lov Organic Lov Is Beautiful Tea (6 teabags) - "An organic herbal blend and white and green tea that's packed with antioxidants and zinc that have proven skincare benefits" - Sounds great, smells lovely, can't wait to try these.  I drink a lot of herbal tea blends, so this is definitely appealing to me.
  • JASON Bee Healthier Lip Balm Stick (full size) - This is am aloe and beeswax lip balm which has a peppermint flavour.  I am a big fan of JASON's products and a total lip balm junkie so I was very happy to see this included, especially as I was actually considering buying it the other day!
  • Moa The Green Balm (sample) - I've had a sample of this before in another beauty box and I remember liking it.  It's a multi-purpose balm that can be used on any dry, chapped and dehydrated skin areas.  I always have something like this in my handbag so it'll certainly get used up.
  • Ritessens Exfoliator (full size) - The star of the box is this full size 125ml facial exfoliator from the french brand Ritessens.  It's formula consists of a powerful blend of natural plant extracts and argan oil - can't wait to try this out!
I'm pretty happy with this month's Joliebox and of course I really love the pure and natural theme.

*I do wish Joliebox would give everyone roughly the same in value of products though - there's a BIG difference in including a £20 full size make-up item in some boxes instead of the tiny balance Me sample for example!

Did you receive a Joliebox this month?
What did you think of the theme?

  1. I got some BB cream instead of the Balance Me moisturiser. I'm not happy with my current BB creams so I am pretty happy about that.

  3. I got BB cream sachets instead of the cream, would rather have had that! http://www.gingerbeautyblog.co.uk/jolie-box-review-october-2012/

    1. I think it's very unfair that people get sent different things in terms of value and perhaps size, would much prefer them to do something more equal.
