This week's 5 Mini Reviews is mainly centered around skincare and features some samples that I've been using for a while, as well as some new ones I've tested out in the last few days.
(1) Burt's Bees Radiance Exfoliating Body Wash
I received this in my Burt's Bees Grab Bag months ago and I've only just gotten around to using it up. It has a very clean scent to it, but I wasn't in love with the formula which is too thin and runny for my liking. This might be exfoliating for those who have sensitive skin because it has those tiny round beads in it which are made of royal jelly and jojoba, but they disappeared so quickly that I couldn't even tell that they were exfoliating. Not for me.
(2) AD Skin Synergy Nourishing Night Treatment
I first discovered this in an Amarya box and have featured this in an evening skincare post before. I managed to purchase some back up samples in a blog sale but sadly this was my last one (sob, sob!). It's an award winning natural and organic face oil treatment which you apply at night and it gives you the softest skin imaginable in the morning, as well as helping to brighten the complexion and just makes it look so healthy. The full size retails for just under £40 (ouch!), so I'm hoping that Santa might treat me to a bottle this year.
(3) Living Nature Balancing Day Lotion
This is the first product I've tried from Living Nature and I picked it up a while back with a Naturisimo order. I wasn't too wowed by it to be honest, and it didn't feel like it did anything for my oily/combination skin. I'll be sticking to my Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser instead.
(4) Dr Bragi Bio Marine Exfoliant
Dr Bragi is a much hyped high-end skincare brand, but I found this facial exfoliator too harsh for my skin unfortunately. I received two samples of this in September's Joliebox and gave the other one to my mum to try out. And she loved it!
(5) Essential Care Organic Rose Petal Tonic*
Like the AD Skin Synergy, I was so sad to see this used up and I've been rationing it out since summer! It's such a lovely rosewater toner that comes in a spritzer form and it makes my face feel really soothed and hydrated after I use it. There are a couple of other rosewater toners that I want to try out at the moment including LUSH's version, but I really rate this product if you want a simple and organic rose toner.
Have you tried any of these?

DeleteEssential Care Rose Petal Tonic sounds so good. I also want to try the one from Lush. I've been thinking of just buying organic rose water and trying that to see if I notice any difference.
