DIY Beauty: Using Green Tea to Soothe and Revitalise Puffy Eyes

Wednesday, 22 August 2012

Here's a quick and easy DIY Beauty tip to try if youre eyes are feeling particularly puffy and irritated by hayfever or by spending too much time in the sun.
You will need:-
2 cotton wool rounds/pads
1 green tea teabag
1 cup
Water

How to:-
1. Brew the tea and allow it to cool completely.
2. Soak the cotton wool rounds in the tea and place over closed eyes for 10-15 minutes.

How it works:-
Green tea has a high content of natural antioxidants which help to soothe and revitalise puffy or sore eyes.  It can also help with reducing the appearance of dark circles temporarily.

Let me know if you give this a go!
