NOTD: China Glaze - Below Deck

Tuesday, 24 April 2012

I haven't been in the typical Spring/pastels mood at the moment nails-wise.  Might be due to the torrential rain we've been having in the UK recently?  Anyway for now, I'm sticking to some of my old favourites.  China Glaze's Below Deck is a darkish mauve that is work-friendly and just really easy to wear.  It's also a shade that compliments the current trend of those off-grey/white bags that everyone seems to be carrying around too!

What are you wearing on your nails today?

  2. Wow this colour looks lovely, I've been debating this colour for a while but looks great on. Might have to pop into Sally's or look on Ebay :)

    1. Yeah I wasn't sure about it when I saw it in the bottle, but was surprised by how good it actually looks on :)

  3. I love these kinds of colours! I'm not feeling the pastels so much either lately-too rainy here!

  4. Gorgeous colour! I've been thinking of getting this specific shade but I have something quite similar from OPI. Formula looks so smooth and glossy :)

  5. That is a lovely colour! I haven't tried anything from China Glaze yet, but have a little list of shades that I want to try. This one has been added to it! :)

I haven't been in the Spring/pastel mood this year either. Have kind of skipped them and gone straight for really bright summery shades instead!

    1. I like China Glaze polishes a lot, the ones I've tried have always worn well and delivered a lovely glossy shine too! That sounds like a plan, I love bright summer shades a lot more than spring pastels! x

  6. The weather is vile :( I love this colour, it’s really sophisticated! I’m currently sporting a french manicure but I feel it’s a little boring. I’m also running a beauty giveaway on my blog in case you’re interested? :)

  7. Ooh, that's a great colour. I actually don't have any China Glaze polishes so I must check that out. I'm wearing OPI Lincoln Park After Dark today- I'm also not feeling the Spring/Summer vibe, the weather is horrific in Ireland too :-(
