Like most beauty bloggers, I had been lusting after the new Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters since they were launched in the US last year. The shades looked gorgeous and the fusion of something which had the pigmentation of a lipstick, but was moisturising like a lip balm, immediately appealed to me. I was very kindly sent one of these coveted lip butters by the lovely Sandra from Beauty Balm in the shade Berry Smoothie to try out. The colour is a beautiful medium pink with a very pretty shimmer that's flattering and not OTT at all. The lip butter just glides onto the lips, delivers brilliant pigmentation that is long lasting and best of all, it really does live up to its moisturising claims and feels so nice on. I can't stand dry lips and often find traditional tinted lip balms a bit too wishy-washy sheer and a lot of lipsticks are too drying on me, so you can see why I really like these! Only tiny downside is that the packaging can be a little stiff and stubborn at times, but other than that, I'd highly recommend getting your hands on one of these babies! I'm already eyeing up Peach Parfait and Cotton Candy. Big thank you again to Sandra for sending this to me, I absolutely love it!
The Berry Smoothie is on my lust list! I definitely want to try a few different ones when they're released in the UK. I've heard a few people say that the mechanism isn't very good!xx

DeleteI LOVE the revlon lip butters, I got 3 of them last year on my trip to California. It was so funny, I made my boyfriend drive to every CVS and Rite Aid just to find them, they're gonna sell out fast over here. Hope I can find some more when I go back in a couple of weeks :)
